Do you mean Israelian are not settlers? Or maybe you don't want contextual informations like you just added some yourself?

I think this whole settler colony discourse is meaningless. What is and isn’t a settler colony is arbitrary. You could probably classify over half the countries on earth as settler colonies.

What are you really trying to say by calling Israelis settlers?

What is and isn’t a settler colony is arbitrary.
No. It's a mode of exploitation and domination clearly defined. Refusing to qualify a settler colony as it is, is refusing to accept the problem as it is.

You could probably classify over half the countries on earth as settler colonies.
Nah, but some yeah.

What are you really trying to say by calling Israelis settlers?
I'm telling you that everything happens in a context, and refusing to see the context by depoliticizing an issue is invisibilizing the reality of a potential situation of oppression. Killing and murders, while horrible, don't happen in a void. So when your first reflex when someone explains the oppression of Palestinians and explain that the resistance treated prisoners correctly, is to call out war crimes of such groups, you participate in such invisibilization and the destruction of the contextual informations that are fundamental to understand the conflict and oppressions of palestinians.

Trying to make them white Coded
Zionism is an extension of white supremacism

Trying to make them white Coded
The thing is, “settler colonialism” is largely just a matter of perspective.

Are Asian and African immigrants in Europe settlers? Some people would say yes. If no, at what point would they become settlers?

London is 36% white British. If there was a civil war in the UK, and London became independent, would it be a settler colony? What if after independence it had much more liberal immigration policies and white British people became 5% of the population. London would then be a majority ethnically African/Asian country in a land historically white British. Is that a settler colony?

Regardless most people would consider it racist to refer to black/asian British people as “settlers”

There is this narrative by zionist apologists that Palestinians are brought up suckling the teat of antisemitism and learning to hate any Jew they see before they learn to write.
Yet the evidence we get to see tells another story.
Well, if my dad and mom got killed in a bombing, I too would hold ill will towards whoever did it.
That much is obvious but to be fair, I think palestinians have more reasons as of now to hate the Israelis than the opposite (and I say that without justifying any act of violence from either side).

But this part of the world is just a big mess, and for other countries, it is a necessary mess. They benefit from it.
True.

No.

By taking the power. Subgegating the population. Oppressing the population. Racializing the population. Dehumanizing the population. Marginalizing the population. Exploiting the population.

Settler colonialism is a form of domination.

Yeah... Palestinians are right to be angry.

Zionism is an extension of white supremacism
jews have always wanted to have an independent state in the holy land. The entire religion is based off of it. The difference between Zionist and religious antizionist Jews really just differs on when and how such a state will be created.

While there is certainly some overlap between white supremacy and Zionism, it really isn’t the same thing.

No.

Yeah the only difference between immigrants and settlers is who has more power.

hence I say it is an arbitrary distinction

I said "Zionism is an extention of white supremacy" not "white supremacy is zionism". In fact this doesn't mean that Zionism originate in white supremacy either, it's more of a symbiotic relationship.

No, but this one was funny. You can't be serious lol
It is was it is.

Most Jews in Israel are Middle Eastern

And Even the European ones are 1/4 haredim who are culturally Middle Eastern
And ?

Yeah the only difference between immigrants and settlers is who has more power.
No. I forgot something.

Colonialism is also linked to a metropole and imperialism. Israel is just a particular case where the metropole is self contained and was created artificially. You could say that Israel serves the interest of westerners (the US specifically) but it would be incomplete.

Israel has an imperialist agenda. Specific to this region.

Understanding who holds the power and who oppressed who is not arbitrary. It's clear and documented. Especially in the case of colonialism.
