There isn't really too much to say, it was an off hand event that Oda mentioned during WCI and never really got back too. We don't really know who specifically was involved from the BBP and Cipher pol iirc. People could use it to slander Blackbeard, but we have on screen moments of him running away anyway, so it doesn't really drive agenda too much.

It’s just crazy that BB ran from an organization like CP0, where their top 3 fighters are Lucci, Kaku, and Mr. Go (who are all fairly strong, but nowhere near top tiers)

Why does no one ever talk about the fact that Lucci and/or Mr. Go made Blackbeard retreat from Baltigo

Little to no context on it. Obviously Teach alone could kill the entire organization in like 5 seconds, but, Whitebeard ran from fodder Marines once, so I don't think it's always so simple.

Teach on the other hand tanked a mountain cleaving slash from S Hawk with one arm and beat the shit out of Law who's considerably above Lucci

Come on man. Lucci is arguably the most efficient and competent fighter in the series (above even Vergo), while BB is easily the clumsiest fighter in the series. Lucci is lethal enough to one shot someone as durable as Sentomaru, so BB will definitely be feeling Lucci’s hits, and Lucci will be maneuvering around him

I don't hate Lucci and it's not like he's similar to Vergo in any ways so I don't see how this comparison makes sense. Me thinking Vergo is objectively one of the worst and most bland villains in the verse doesn't affect my opinion on Lucci, who's actually a pretty good and menacing villain.
All I said is that Teach would shitstomp Lucci, which is pretty obvious. Top tiers neg diffing Commander level opponents has been a thing for a long time.

Straight up delusional.

Zoro invented a whole new sword style by himself and beat several skilled and experienced swordsmen throughout the series with said style, including Kaku who's close to Lucci in power and skill lol
Shanks is more skilled than Zoro, and Mihawk is more skilled than Shanks. They automatically get bumped above Lucci in that regard.
I also fail to see how Lucci would be the most competent when he lost twice in one arc because he was too stupid to just leave an Emperor and his crew alone.
