Speculations We've Already seen Dragon's Mythical Zoan: the Wind Grandma is a Ship that Ate a Dragon Fruit

Why can't a Ship eat a Devil Fruit? If a Gun can eat a Dog Fruit, a Ship can eat a Dragon Fruit.

Like, I think Dragon has a Dragon Fruit, and the Wind Grandma is just an (awesome) ship.

But Dragon having the Wind/Storm Logia, and a ship, the Wind Grandma, that ate a Mythical Dragon Zoan, is fucking awesome.

So, in this case, the ship would have the personality of a granny, and the Dragon would be an elderly woman. WE'RE GOING WEST, EVERYBODY WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

The more I look at that ship, the more I get the feeling it could come alive at any moment. Especially that 2nd picture, scary. Wow

:noo:

You could be onto something here.
A Ship transforming into a Dragon is the kind of cool stuff Oda likes drawing, too.

I thought for awhile that Dragon could use Flames Clouds + Wind to move the Wind Grandma, and that's why the WG couldn't catch him

Dragon having the Storm Logia + his ship eating a Mythical Zoan makes him hilariously overpowered.

I still have every Yonkou (Kaido, Linlin, Shanks, Teach, Luffy, Buggy), and every Admiral (not sure about Akainu but, fuck it, Mt. Fuji is a giant volcano, give us Papasuzki in Wano) in Wano for the Pluton War (+Shiki as a stealth Yonkou working with Teach)

Dragon's showing up, and him being able to fly the ship there helps a lot.

Would also be very interesting, as Wano is actually racist towards Western Dragons, but reveres Eastern Dragons, a big reason why Kaido's rule went the way it did.

So, if Dragon showed up, the very racist people of Wano would likely think he or his ship, depending which is a Dragon, in some evil Western Dragon.

Still need to see the Blackbeard x Revs clash in Baltigo, too; we'll get this when Dragon clashes with the Blackbeard Pirates in Wano. Sabo and Burgess part 2, whoohoooooooooooo

So true. Being up in the air seems to be a great way to avoid the Marines / World Government. I mean look at Vivi / Wapol. They have just escaped Marie Joa and are still unbothered because they are flying with Big News Morgans.

It is very interesting why Oda still hasn't given us Dragon's "fruit" reveal, yet. He revealed so many others before him yet still keeps his a secret. It has to be something of great significance for sure.

Of course, we had some hints throughout the story, and Wind Powers are highly possible.

A great battle for Pluton would be sick. It's time Sakazuki moved out and did something.

Since Oda teased us that 2026 is going to be the Year of encounters in his Jump Festa Message, this isn't even too farfetched to believe. Teach will go for Pluton or Poseidon sooner or later. Anything is possible now.

And Shanks seems to keep track of his movement.

And Blackbeard also said to both Shanks during Marineford and when Akainu came after them that he was not ready "yet." It could be a little foreshadowing that he has to face both of them again somehow. Bring Kaidou and Big Mom back and put Cross Guild into that mix, plus the Revos. An apocalyptic battle will break out.

:finally:

Imagine they switch their opponents mid fight , everyone vs everyone

IMO, it's going to be Marineford, but with a "this island is about to fucking explode" timer.

Wano's subtarranean was already seriously unstable after Kaido and Big Mom's Giant asses made two Zunesha sized holes in Wano's bedrock, to the extent they + bombs caused an earthquake and underwater eruption. Combine the effects of Imu's earthquake from Lulusia, and Teach's Gura Gura might literally make Mt. Fuji go at any moment.

Yeah, I think Teach will fight Akainu and Shank on separate occasions.

Act 4 should be a ton of clashes, more or less God Valley, but with an Ancient Weapon.

Whoever gets Pluton automatically becomes the strongest power next to Imu, IMO. Like, Teach can just fucking blow up Marineford.

Dragon and the Revs have been teased to fight the Gods' Knights, and, when the WG invades Wano, it will partially be for food. They technically caused this problem, and need to deal with it.

Dragon's going to be an absolute menace.

But, if a Ship ate a Devil Fruit...wouldn't it just...sink?

A ship would still be affected by the Curse, supposedly. I mean, it wouldn't "kill" the ship, since ships don't have to breathe. But, it'd still be pulled underwater and wouldn't be able to "float" anymore. At least not without some sort of external propulsion. I guess a Wind Logia or Wind Dragon Zoan could provide that. But, again, supposedly, being in the water would make the ship "weaker" like we've seen with other Devil Fruit Users, and it wouldn't have the energy or stamina to actually use it's own Devil Fruit.

So, I...doubt it? I mean, I can't say it's absolutely impossible, because Oda could introduce some mechanic to make it work. But, from everything we know so far...a ship COULD it a Devil Fruit, but it'd be a very bad idea.

Just for the sake of argument, though, how COULD we make this work? Well...maybe the "black coating" on the ship actually is what protects it from the effects of the water? Maybe there's some way to coat the entire ship in Haki or with some other material, like a enhanced version of Pitch to protect the ship? This special pitch could be another substance linked to Adam Wood, perhaps? Or perhaps another form for pyrobloin to take? Similar to Seastone, but something that PROTECTS a Devil Fruit User like armor, instead of weakening them? Kind of like having a Sabaody bubble coating on the ship at all times.

So, I do like the idea of the ships and klaubatermann playing a bigger role in the story. But...I don't think this is going to happen. I doubt that's the way Oda's going to go with it. I could be wrong, though. And I appreciate the creativity, at least.

Wow, fantastic post, I hadn't considered that.

The outside would have to be Seastone, and then there would need to be some kind of substance that served as a barrier between the Seastone and the ship. But, would that still cancel out the affect?
