I’ll wait for the chapter to drop but if it’s confirmed that conqueror’s coating alone (not applied in a specific way) is what allows you to damage the HK/Gorosei then Oda was on drugs when he wrote the latter half of Egghead

You could use this to explain Nusjuro blocking Zoro’s attack but like… what about everything Luffy did?
The Gorosei were all said to be powerful haki users, with almost all of them showing CoC as well.

Simply having ACoC shouldn’t be a silver bullet to beating them, like it was for Sommers.

I mean it should be considered a spoiler lol,if loki beat him bad enough to where Harald can now be killed then that obviously means loki overpowered Harald’s contract and acoc defense, not hard to understand.
Whatever floats your boat, I won’t take it as granted, I've been fooled before.

Idk I think it also depends on if you are a conqueror and have strong willpower, for example Harald could resist Imus order for a while before surrendering to it. I still think Luffys drums of liberation will be the real solution bar beating someone to death.
Yeah but will Luffy learn to do that in this arc? That would basically render one of the scariest aspect of Imu's power useless.
I feel it's the type of thing Luffy should learn in the final war

They aren't saying different things.
WorstGenHQ says Loki manages to break Imu's control through damage, which is the way Gaban explains is how you fight HKs to begin with.
Then, when the control is off, Harald takes this opportunity to let Loki finish him, by putting down his haki.

The issue is that they are each saying just 1 part of what happened, but they are both right.
Just gotta put the pieces together.
xD
This is something I assumed we shouldve knew in the first place, why where people thinking it’s a loki downscale?

Because it seems to me that the link to Imu only breaks when the afflicted is dying anyways @Kurozumi Wiwi
Probally when the soul start to exists one body

Might do it on accident and not fully master it. I think the final war will be a board game of people turning and getting unturned lol. Sure you might cut the link with Imu if you beat someone until theyre literally dying but is that really saving them lol.

Now I understand why Kaido thought he could be Joyboy. If his devil fruit is anything similar to the legendary fruit on Elbaf. He even had a smile squirrel fruit user.
Kaido learned about Joy Boy from Rocks. But, Rocks didn't know about Nika, just Joy Boy.

When Kaido saved King, he thought he could be Joy Boy.

IMO, when Kaido found Jack at Fish-Man Island, he also talked to Shyalrly (who, as a 3-year-old was somehow already doing prophecies). This was around the same time Queen joined up.

Whatever Shylarly told Kaido, is what dictated everything he did after that point. I think she more or less told Kaido:
-You aren't Joy Boy. Joy Boy is the man who will defeat you. Your defeat will lead to the Dawn.
-You will die in the land of Wano, to a Samurai

2nd part is ZKK dependent and iffier, but I 100% Shylarly told Kaido to his face he isn't Joy Boy.

Once Kaido couldn't be Joy Boy, he dedicated his life to creating Joy Boy. IMO, Kaido thought it would be Ace, and got really depressed post-Marineford. Luffy becoming Joy Boy IS WHAT KAIDO WANTED, but, obviously, Luffy had to earn that shit.
