Keep in mind that this 2.6 Bounty was a frozen one from 6 years ago btw. Blackbeard with Gura and a full-fledged crew only had 2.2 Billion but he was already declared as a yonko.

I mean most likely shanks became a yonko because "he beat loki". This was most likely the accomplishment which made shanks a yonko as the timeline matches perfectly. So I doubt this was not a noteworthy event.
