Sooo I read the dialogue and there's no indication Harald turned off his COC barrier at the end... This was a headcanon by Scotch. It's like saying Xebec turned off his COC barrier for Roger & Garp to beat him because he was crying while standing still in the last part of the fight.

it seems the big deal in this entire situation is that Harald was actually fighting Gaban and Shanks and that’s why they couldn’t just kill him. Not really because of CoC barriers

and when Loki showed up Harald stopped himself from fighting so that Loki could get his free hits on him.
