I wonder if making Christmas a national holiday basically secularized it.
Because now everyone celebrates Christmas even if you’re not Christian.
Whereas only Jews celebrate Hanukkah, only Muslims celebrate Eid, only Hindus celebrate Diwali, etc.

normal people always invite others to celebrate with them regardless of religion
