Tbh, he could've done that on Marineford when he got the two fruits, just pull half dead Akainu in with the vortex and then one-shot him with a gura punch

Yeah, Teach tanks a lot of hits despite the fact that his df drawback makes him even more vulnerable to attacks. That's speak a lot about his endurance

Even his punches are underrated, he almost broke Ace's neck with one punch even though he was distracted by two flaming spears that impaled him, on top of all that he took a point blank Whitebeard quake directly to the brain, but looked fine minutes later, he even challenged the marines

I don't know if that's related to his devil fruit a bit, i guess he receives double the pain, but the devil fruit absorbs much of the damage taken so he can endure much punishment
