Powers & Abilities Usopp will get Ragnir

#82
Loki got new devil fruit as his main weapons

He don't need Ragnir any longer.
I don’t see him giving it up to anyone especially ussop,it’s like Roger or Whitebeard giving up their weapons to some random noobie pirate unless loki gets a weapon stronger than ragnir or he simply doesn’t need it loki is too stubborn to give it up he clearly has a special relationship with ragnir.

Why are some wings fans hellbent on Usopp surpassing the wings this arc
Sanji fans want him to be stronger than zoro because ragnir>zoro
Acknowledging what's possible isn't advocacy.

Some of us actually like One Piece and remember
  • Usopp used to use a hammer a lot
  • King Harald "returned" his legendary sword
  • Loki is the chosen successor
It doesn't take much to put together Harald's sword and Jarul's testimony can legitimise Loki.
It's not impossible.

Harald's "legendary sword" is possibly up for grabs, and Loki was his chosen successor before his end.

Ragnir has been guarding Elbaph for generations. It may want to go out into the world, and Loki may be sympathetic to it after his own imprisonment.
If it's either-or, I'd prefer Usopp learning Armament Haki so he can imbue projectiles over having a legendary weapon.

What does liking OP have to do with this lol
I have quite enjoyed the plot with the Elbaf royal family, the fact a hammer guarded the legendary fruit of Elbaf presumably for 800 fucking years is something extraordinary by itself, to the point where not even Harald dared to have a go at it, and now it’s in the hands of the chosen accursed prince of Elbaf whose purpose in the story is to instigate Ragnarok

This is why I find the idea of Usopp wielding it quite silly, maybe a gag scene for good times sake

No he fucking isn't...

Wtf?

Cloud Oga is not a fucking top tier. Neither is bumsopp's dead beat dad

Also, if you think bumsopp is beating Oga in a straight up 1 v 1 sniping fuel, I got a bridge to sell to you lol.

He's gonna win with petty tricks and insane luck and plot armor. Like every single fight he's won so far.

Bro is gonna shoot seeds vs actual bullets lmao
It’s gonna be a combination of many factors but Usopp’s most hyped up matchup will (mostly) be won through skill

And while Yasopp probably isn’t a top tier I wouldn’t be surprised if he was incredibly close. Beckman, Roo, and Yasopp were hyped up as exceptionally strong commanders for a reason

Usopp will surpass the Deadbeat and become a pseudo top tier. Ragnir is just the first step

:endthis:
Post automatically merged:

Van Augur doesnt require a nuke to be defeated
Ragnir requires skill to use

Usopp would use Ragnir in conjunction with his sniping skills to take down enemies that should be too much for him on paper

He already has a super wacky kit

Why not take it even further?

This is pretty par for the course for the East Blue straw hats though. Each time they enter an island connected to their character.

Zoro walked out of Wano with the “masterpiece” of a master swordsmith which was feared throughout the island cause no one could use it but Oden and hyped as the only sword to scar Kaido.

Nami walked out of Whole Cake Island with a homie that’s revered by all other homies and stated to be on another level of all others that had the power to change the weather and was a primary weapon of a yonko

Sanji left Germa Kingdom with a raid suit that’s hyped as the “most troublesome” ability of all the suits which were used to conquer a quarter of the entire world in the past

So Usopp leaving Elbaf, the island most connected to his character, with a hammer (his primary closed combat weapon) that is legendary here and can only be used by few others in history is just par for the course.

Unless oda is going to reveal another heirloom of Elbaf to give Usopp like he did for all the other EB straw hats, Ragnir the sentient hammer that can easily be tricked into believing Usopps a God like the Prince of Elbaf did, is the best option.

Because mfers filter everything through agendas and y'all bitches were implying I believe this is possible because I have some agenda against Zoro. :kayneshrug: Lies and slander.

I'm guessing, the last king to wield Ragnir was probably an ally of Joyboy but Elbaph goes back thousands of years. Ragnir might be 800-900 years old, but he could also be older.

There's a good chance he was created in that laboratory that's more than 3000 years old. The mfer may want to go on adventure, and Loki, who's had a taste of being chained to a place, might let him.

This is why I find the idea of Usopp wielding it quite silly, maybe a gag scene for good times sake
If Loki takes up Harald's "legendary" sword, I see no reason for him to keep Ragnir. Perhaps Hajrudin gets the sword and they rule as co-monarchs.

Gags are part of the actual plot and always have been. Usopp's lies coming through is one of those gags. There's a mysterious owl on the island that can change the size of objects. We had a colour spread that highlighted squirrels and pop greens.

You don't have to like where this can be interpreted as going, but it certainly seems to me the possibility has been engineered into the plot these last 2 chapters.

The people of Elbaph might not fw Loki having the ability to end the world, even if they believe Jarul, Gaban and whoever else speaks on his behalf.

Even if he can't actually do it.

I could also see Loki observing Ragnir and Usopp bonding over pop greens and recognising the little guy deserves to roam free, at least for a while.

However it happens, the elements are there to allow it without being contrived.

Symbol of legitimacy and sympathy for Ragnir since he's a giant softy.

It might also be justified as removing Loki's capacity to end the world.
Isn't the reason Loki can "end the world" his Devil Fruit and not Ragnir?

Fwiw I wish Usopp did get some power up (or just became less bitchy) and stopped using those boring plants but Oda just hasn't put the spotlight on him since we came to Elbaf so I don't expect him to do it post flashback.

Hope I'm wrong though.

Loki implied it before, but Harald appears to have confirmed the world-ending power is the combination of the legendary DF and Ragnir.

He specifically mentions needing to eat the DF and take up Ragnir.

Now, as far as Elbaph is concerned, a villain that has terrorised them for decades has the power to end the world.

I know it's One Piece and all, but I can see several contexts in which Loki gives up Ragnir, even willingly, and even if only to calm fears and tensions.

A legendary sword befitting a king is a reasonable replacement. HK Harald discarded it for world-ending power. Loki could end up discarding world-ending power for his father's sword.

Bruh, I've all but given up on his showdown with Von Auger being anything but bullshit.

I think Oda sewed a few scenes for Usopp post flashback when he called Dory and Brogy Pride-less and when he was clearly insulted by the Giant kids lack of warrior spirit.

Real talk: Oda killed Usopp with the Pop Greens.

Any creativity to his fights vanished once he got Convenient Plant That Conveniently Exists in his bag 24/7. Zero inovation compared to pre TS and the dials, his fake hammer, cockroaches, frying pan, rubber band, and actual sniping like in Enies Lobby.

Yeah using a fucking balloon hammer, who do ussops fans think he is? He’s not suddenly going from shooting beans and getting belt to ass by pet cats to suddenly wielding the mythical weapon of one of the strongest Giants that ever existed (btw ragnir is canonically heavy it’s sheer weight alone was breaking elbaf floor and marble)
And btw baby loki was killing bears larger than this cat as a newborn baby
To be fair Luffy said Usopp could have beat that cat if he stopped playing around

The only way I see him welding ragnir is if it allows itself to be shrunken which idk if it would

Usopp was Top 3 or Top 5 for me preskip.

He really had a good run too, from his introduction all the way up to Thriller Bark. Sabaody was OK, but by then he was already feeling sidelined as a main combatant.

Dressrosa was over a decade ago and the mfer ain't done anything interesting since.
