Rocks wanted to be king of the world, dumbass.
yeah where do you think he got tha ambition and goal from?

do you think Rocks just wanted to infiltrate Marijoa just cause, then take 5 kings hostage and confront Imu directly by going to the flower capitol?

being king of the world was in direct correlation to taking down Imu: official translations "theres no authority in the world that last forever"

this is all stated after confronting Imu...
That's speculation, not fact. We have no knowledge of the truth or how much Rocks knew or could have known.
yawn.

it is not speculation it is fact, even cobra knew the truth cause hes a descendant and got knowledge that was passed down/found.

here make sure to read the pages this time:

We also don't know Roger's motivations or what he knew starting out. We do know he invited Rayleigh to turn the world "upside down" with him. Given his lack of interest in territory, it's possible that phrase reflected Roger having some knowledge of the lore. We won't know until we get the Roger Pirates flashback.
lol this was also stated in the manga by rayleigh that the VoaT guided Roger and they knew nothing until the found the one piece and found out that they were too early.... his motivations and such were different but they were not to take down imu or even rule he didnt even want to be called king of pirates nor gold....

like do you not actually read the manga?
No shit, moron. Rocks wasn't king of the world yet and only recruited strong subordinates.

Do you think it's coincidental the dude that wanted to dominate the world didn't have any followers that were actually loyal to him? He recruited most of his crew through Davy Back Fights. NONE of them tried to save him in the end. They abandoned him at his time of greatest need.

If you paid attention, you'd know Rocks and Roger are mirror images, you imbecile. Roger was born in the East Blue, Rocks in the West Blue. Roger was immortalised in legend, Rocks was erased from history. Roger embraced death on his own terms, Rocks was rushed into an early grave. Roger died smiling, Rocks died confused and crying. I can keep going.

Pay attention, dumb mfer.
it was in response to you dumb mfer, pay attention lol
Roger wasn’t a good guy, he just also wasn’t a villain. Like Luffy, his calling was adventure and he had no interest in dominating others.
incorrect both Kaido and Whitebeard came to fight alongside him, why WB didnt go back is another story but he didnt knew what was going on with Xebec.

sure keep going, cause you know who was also crying during xebecs death, Roger....

lol he created this thread cause of my thread about xebec having VoaT disputed cause "hes' evil" and only "good guys" have VoaT edited his post 3 times then left xebec does have VoaT then this thread appeared shortly afterwards lol
well really he made 3 seperate threads 2 defending Imu as a good person and wanting Xebec to pure evil worse than Imu.

Roger and Rocks obviously have propaganda around them, but the fact remains that they're pretty openly violent and willing to kill people(which Oda doesn't like drawing the strawhats doing, but in theory they've done it a bit). They were pretty willing to associate with some horrible people of that era who killed thousands, like Kaido and Big Mom, and it's implied pretty strongly they left enough destruction around for the ordinary people to hate them. Shanks is the version of them that doesn't really kill people for fun, and is more traditionally good coded. The world of OP doesn't even really view him in a negative light for it.

You can't be king of the world without dominating it. They are one and the same.

yawn.

Cobra didn't know the truth. Even if he did, why would that mean Rocks would know it?

For all we know, Rocks had incomplete information, you fucking child.

They abandoned him, retard.

Do you think Rayleigh and Gaban would've abandoned Roger in that situation?

A symbol of protection, bravery, wit, and biodiversity, this represents that Godod is among the few areas in Zamboanga del Norte where the critically endangered Philippine eagle has been sighted. A Philippine eagle found here was even named "Godod” to honor the place where it was found.
