How can Loki be a God Tier character when you're literally using Beckman and Lucky Roo as excuses?
I didn't say Loki is God tier, whatever this is supposed to mean anyways. Shanks alone is close to Kaido. Ben is portrayed as Shanks' moon, who is the sun, having vice captain status and most likely being top tier himself. While the rest of his crew is said to be exceptionally strong and having made a name for themselves outside the crew. Team up Shanks and Ben alone and they would spit on any other top tier 2 on 1.

The emphasis Oda is placing on Loki's strength is what gives me the most hope and fear simultaneously.

- Best case scenario is that Oda follows through on having Loki be unstoppably strong.

- Worst case scenario is Ryokugyu 2: Electric Boogaloo.
People just don't get you can't use giant destructive power as a measure of their overall strength.

Loki is still a rookie despite his destructive ability. That's the reason Shanks owned him.

I dont know for now.
That's fair. Honestly I'm kinda leery of all this prediction stuff.

Harald alone is a great example of how predictions can be off.

Personally think everyone is being a bit hasty in powescaling rn all round. All this recent writing is giving me serious Marineford Crocodile vibes where Oda is basically winging it.

But I guess most of you have been reading OP way longer than I have so you all probably know better tbh.

So you're suggesting that it was a case of skill beating strength?

That's actually believable if we take into account that Loki ages far slower than Shanks and therefore had a comparatively far slower growth rate, I guess.

Lmao isn't your entire downplay of Loki and Haralds about the fact that you think they cant deal with BG and Flaming Bagua or whatever its called?

Anyway, Loki didn't lose in a 1v1 fight with Shanks, which is why he calls him a coward. It's pretty simple, the entire arc is full of false premises being shown to be wrong when taken too literally, like Garp and Roger teaming up to "take down" Rocks
