If Imu the most ancient and knowledgeable character in the manga believed HK Harald to be>WSM then world strongest titles aren't word of GOD.
Shanks not being a swordsman or being one and still somehow stronger than WSS isn't far fetched anymore.

It’s a shame that canon movies weren’t a thing when Naruto came out, there’s several segments that would’ve worked well as a movie.

The Sasuke vs Itachi fight and subsequent Itacht plot twist could’ve been made into a movie (ending with Sasuke awakening the MS and declaring he’ll destroy Konoha)

The Jiraiya vs Pain segment also could’ve worked, so could Akatsuki Suppression aka Shikamaru Shippuden, and the Pain Invasion could’ve been made into a 2 parter.
