I don't understand why you're @ing me here as if I've ever said Gaban is stronger than Loki.
I said Loki > Gaban back when he was fighting Luffy and Zoro for the key.
I just don't think Loki is this super god tier character you guys are making him out to be when:
a) Shanks locked him up
b) Loki's destined to become a Luffy cheerleader by the end of Elbaf
Loki's incredibly strong, a high top-tier with his DF and Ragnir — by the end of the arc, he'll likely lose Ragnir to Hajrudin which will bring him below end of Elbaf Luffy.
But if you think Loki's leaving Elbaf stronger than Luffy then you've not been paying attention for the last 1170 chapters, simple as that. And Luffy is not reaching Joyboy level on Elbaf lmao.

Aye, its gonna be even worse with how Toei is making the anime overwhelmingly bright and colourful too, the Elbalph preview proves it too but it is what it is. I'm just gonna be so happy to see him animated and voice acted regardless, they can bitch and moan all about his colours all they like, its all in vain anyway ofc.

No, it’s you who has not been paying attention in the slightest. At absolutely no point in this manga has Luffy left the arc as the strongest character, I don’t think this has happened since like, Arlong Park.

You see guys, Oda showed Harald and Xebec going even multiple times with neither getting a clear upper hand throughout their entire lives but in reality Xebec is much stronger because I feel like he is.
Also, Imu gave out his strongest contract, domi reversi, to literal fodder and not his strongest slave Harald because I just kinda think he did.
And also, while Loki actually did kill Harald it was only after Harald let him. Loki didn’t overpower Harald or anything to restore his self control it just kind of happened because.
And Harald never overpowered Gaban and Shanks, in fact, Gaban rapidly got 10000x weaker right after retiring and this Shanks is 3x weaker than the one that fought Mihawk in front of Whitebeard a couple months ago because that’s kind of just what the vibes are telling me.
