People don't get Haki is a just bullshit power system that Oda can justify his faves beating all the monsters in One Piece. There is no logical reason Roger = Whitebeard, but lo and behold that's the case.

There's nothing that gets Oda harder than having a 1-armed alcoholic bum with no magic powers, just take down giants with magical dragon powers. And that's cause Shanks is basically a Oda self-insert lol.
