Idk if it’s possible but gunko being saved from the clutches of imu and having her free will returned to her somehow could be a callback to brook gaining his shadow back, since she seemed to have that moment where she recognised brook briefly

I feel like that's almost guaranteed to be the case with the only difference being she might actually die at the end

But Oda established the connection between Gunko and Brook for a reason. Not to mention Brook just so happens to have weird soul abilities that we've seen can effect individuals stronger than him (Big Mom)

Feels like he's a lock to be Imu's counter for this arc

Why don‘t folks understand that this is exactly the hard part that Gaban and Shanks couldn’t come close to replicating?

A transformed Loki easily beat up an on-guard Harald who was using aCoC to fight. Gaban said that they hit a wall once Harald started using aCoC. It’s really not that hard pick up on these established points. Harald even without the regen is a beyond Xebec-level powerhouse, aCoCless regen users like Sommers doesn’t pose a problem for Gaban.

We don't know her enough yet but a Brook/Gunko flashback is coming sooner rather than later

It'll frustrate a lot of people but I wouldn't be surprised if we got 10-15 chapters in the present before diving into a multi-chapter long Brook flashback

Yet he made no attempt to deflect or avoid either one of their attacks lmfao, which he had been previously doing in the fight

They only beat Xebec because Xebec gave them an opening.

Those two scenarios really aren’t comparable at all though. For starters, the MC and his crew obviously weren’t permanently defeated. Second, we already knew that Kuma’s ability just teleports people instead of deleting them from existence, so we already knew for a fact that none of the SHs died there. It’s not like Hakoku magically teleported the Kid Pirates away, and it’s not like Dorry and Brogy had any intention of sparing their lives like Kuma did with the SHs.

The point is, both were said to be destroyed, just meaning they lost, and couldn´t really keep being pirates and continue same as normal. The SHP figured it out because plot, but you get the idea.

Kidd also has, COC, and an explicit hatred of the CD´s, and the SHP are going to need 5 fighters against the 5 Gorosei, who are CD´s, who can only be harmed by COC. Since Kidd already has it, he´s got to be the one of the main options, especially when he has 1 top tier to his name(partially). And his DF has cool interactions both in action and thematically with Fuji and Aramaki, so he could end up fighting them as well.

I’m sure she’ll rapidly age. But she’s younger than Brook so she’s probably around Gabans age. As such I dont think she’ll die she just become an old woman

Oda didn’t even give Kid’s CoC any focus at all in Wano. Even if he does unlock ACoC, he’ll still be fodder to EoS Luffy

Probably. But even top tiers are going to be fodder for EoS Luffy.

Kidd's role will be that of a new gen pirate. He'll likely face and HK/Gorosei.

Both are non-vital to the story, and both got destroyed by the RHPs around the same time in the story, and under pretty much the exact same conditions (bullied by Shanks and then having their ship blown to pieces a few miles off shore). The CoC barrier was a passive buff, it was always up.

Show me a single panel of DR Xebec dodging or blocking a single one of Roger or Garp's attack.
