Though when it comes to Loki's PL, the condition is Gaban would have to know about this df matchup advantage too. Because the key here is Gaban believed Loki could do what him + Shanks combined couldn't, which is subdue Harald (not sure they even considered Loki could/would kill him). And the entire chapter was revolving around Loki gaining the fruit. From Gaban and Shanks' perspective it would be about Loki gaining strength, unless they know about some exclusive hax this df has. The issue with that is Gaban never fought a Deep Sea (or w.e you call it) HK who uses AdCoC, and he seems to be shocked that Loki killed a HK.

At the end of the day Loki was still portrayed much stronger than Gaban + 25 year old Shanks combined. Which is massive.

Gaban did know it was the DF though, because he didn't say wow Loki is so strong, he literally said wow who knew the treasure of Elbaf had such power. Not only Gaban, but even Harald didn't think it was possible to kill a HK with haki alone. This isn't about Loki's haki, this about Loki's DF.

And killing an immortal is not an ability that would help much against Shanks. I can't help shake the feeling that Oda skipped Shanks vs Loki because this is Loki's hype time and that battle de-hypes Loki. I'm certain we're not done with the Shanks wank just yet, and if Loki is a Joyboy level from fighter and solo sky-splitter, what trick could a DF-less Shanks have possibly used to not only stop him but leave bro tied to a tree in the underworld?

I've never argued against Loki being strong, I said he's a high top-tier. You need ACoC and this fruit to kill an immortal, and Harald and Loki are the only two giants who possess ACoC so that makes complete sense.

That doesn't mean Loki is a Joyboy level fighter, it just means he has a specific ability which allows him to kill immortals.

I'm not jumping on the god tier Loki hype train until we see either Loki feats in the present or Loki vs Shanks.

Harald didn’t even know that immortals exist until earlier that morning. He was more so banking on the fact that the fruit has a world-ending level of power, and that it would be somehow enough.

The issue I also have with this is that base Loki killed Harald while he was in the process of fully regenerating, so the fruit didn’t even cancel the regen in the first place. In the present day, Gaban and Loki also confirmed that HKs aren’t truly immortals while implying that aCoC is the secret sauce to killing immortals.

My headcanon is that the fruit just gave Loki such overwhelming power, and if you recall Rayleigh’s words about overall strength and CoC strength then everything fits.
