We keep cutting the parts hes chewed through, basically they gave him 2 sedatives/calmants that are supposed to work for 12 hours but they dont, they only work a few ours and then hes agitated and moving again which is bad because then he gets irritated with his cone and started chewing on it.

Vet said to put a muzzle on him all day and night long except for meal but it feels inhumane.

Well, that would require the busdriver to be one of the first 3 to target me, so I don't know how confirmable it really is.

Would probably be worth trialling the muzzle at least and then encouraging him by giving him rewards when it's removed. Then once he learns to associate "not biting etc" with "treats" he'll stop it.
