I elaborated a little on it yesterday but, you haven’t done anything really outside of your scum range and I still feel that way so you being slight town/barely/town side of null whatever you want me to call it IS bc of my gut and not necessarily bc of logic.
I guess I also lean slight town bc of our POE’s being very similar since last dp. Also how you’ve handled Magic’s slot roughly the same as me or at least been more of the opinion that he’s town. Also I think Michelle is scum, and I don’t necessarily think you would normally town lean or express doubt about a scum Michelle if yall are mates together and make yourself look worse off it.
I think if she’s town and you’re scum I could more so see the world of you wanting to make sure you read her accurately bc it would be expected and you historically read her well, but we can cross that bridge if it comes and it still wouldn’t really be my first concern.

Scum range this, town range that, blah blah I say. There's value in reading a player purely off of this game and not getting tangled up on what they *can* do. For example I just came off a game where I was scum with Michelle and tried to pass off a town read on her (of sorts) - so clearly if the situation calls for it I'm not going to be too concerned about how I look off of it.
It’s about being less risk adverse tho, for example I don’t know the context of the other game but putting that completely to the side as you said for a moment. I kind of think at the point of you giving Michelle a town lean this game, everyone else was having an opposite reaction to Michelle and she was also already HEAVILY suspected at that point, so you giving her that read would not really make much a difference anyways in her inevitable lynching. Therefore it would not benefit you much, quite the opposite considering you’re suppose to be able to read her.
It’s also not as if you had much threadpull at the time and even now you’re not in majority’s strong town reads or clears so I feel you would gain nothing from doing so and aligning yourself so overtly at that moment especially given the game state with a mate like that when the scum team already got cut in half .

I mean I accept this and it demonstrates that you're actually thinking about my alignment which is what I wanted to pull out from your arguments. It's valid. I would also say that if I felt as scum I needed to take a risk to set someone up, whether that be myself or one of my mates, I would take the risk. My point really is it's very easy to get caught up in "what would he really do as scum" which sends you in circles if you go far enough down the rabbit hole. I'm basically trying to get you to commit to a position for confidence reasons.
