Kagurabachi just had his main villain slicing in half the second strongest character in the manga while Oda the fraud has brook blocking imu avoc attack

Mahito spent time inside Dagon's Domain so he at least knew about its existance
Though some translations point to Dabura already having a Domain... which raises the question - a person that doesn't like to fight (Dabura from the beginning of this fight) would want to end it immediately (as he tried to do with the lasers) so why not do a Domain? If it's not your first move then it certainly should be second once he realises Mahoraga is adapting to his technique.
That's why I think he came up with it on the fly. At least until we get clearer translations.

What's the point of writing a growing dynamic character if you're never gonna showcase his growth or any struggle? It's even worse retrospectively because you realize Zoro has been strong enough to do something but just didn't because of... whatever?? What's the point of making him that strong if you're not gonna make him utilize it?
Zoro has never shown any struggle post timeskip other than gaining ACoC and being stalled by Lucci (who he didn't need a power up to beat and it was a pathetically drawn fight)
