Sanji isn´t going to randomly unlock COC though, he´s going to need to be against a strong opponent for it to even make remote sense. In this case, to justify Sanji getting a powerup, his opponent should clearly be above current Sanji, and I don´t think this is just because of regen.
I agree, but after Gaban's explanation I don't think it could be random.
And as far as strong opponents go, I agree. And in that case, since I have them far higher, a 1.8B pirate DRed is the oppoenet way above Sanji who I think would be needed.
The problem with Dorry and Broggy is they aren´t actual antagonists who need to be taken down in the same way. It seems way more likely Oda does some plot BS wrt that, or maybe Kidd comes back or something, or Idk, Loki. But Sommers and Killingham being actual villains makes them seem way more likely to fight the wings this arc. We can agree to disagree though.
Idk, I think Oda made a big deal out fo the DR, even making DR Xebec the big villain (de facto) of GV. Now it should be the same, unless Loki gets DRed and then he becomes the one.
They need to be actually KO’d as their DFs are causing the problems on Elbaf. And haki is shown to be the primary method of doing this.
Primary, or most direct, yes; not only.
Someone needs to stop the immortal, powerupped army of giants just as they need to stop the HK. The problem is the same.
The issue is leaving Shamrock beyond this arc just going to further bloat an already heavy endgame. He didnt exist prior to this arc and now we still have like 4 potential villains Luffy needs to face lol. Elbaf will be yet another arc that doesnt actually resolve any of them either.
Yeah, Oda tends to do this. He didn't with Doflamingo, but we know he was going to do it because he said so.
Anyway, I see quite clearly Dragon-Garling and Sabo-Shamrock as EoS matchups so I won't expect either of them to really do something until then. Maybe some skirmishes or unseen fights, but that's it.
