Discussion Power Unpopular opinion: Despite ranking Ulquiora was the strongest Espada

Ulquiorra in my opinion was the strongest Espada by far

Even if there were some ranked above him it does not matter by feats he was clearly the strongest one

I heavenly doubt the Espada ranked above him could survive his Lanza which could kill them on one hit

The only one who might stand a change is Barragan but Ulquiora could kill him before he gets respira off

I think they are on similar level. Even with her resurrection , base nnoitra still wasn't that much hurt. But nel would be a level above him easy if she continued her growth rate.

Well, Nelliel used her res because she knew she had a short time limit to defeat him. But she owned him in base, without any problem. Which is why I believe she was much stronger than Tia, not just Nnoitora.
Also, she made Nnoitora bleed from her very first attack, plus she sent him flying with just a punch, which means her power lvl was just above Nnoitora in miles.
Also, she was able to kill him a few times, which Nnoitora admitted to and became even angrier because she was still playing with him. And Nel used her res just to show the difference in their power levels, because again she didn't want to kill Nnoitora.

Usually I am all for following the ranks and all, but iirc it was only for reiatsu, and even Aizen did not know of Segunda Etapa.

No way in hell is anyone convincing me Harribel or fucking Yammy are stronger than this monster.

Aizen told Ichigo that he made sure to have the two fight when Ichigo was able to win. Meaning Aizen knew about ulquorras full power.

But people like Ulquiorra more so they ignore all of that.

Starrk, Halibel and Barragen depends on ranking, been around the same lvl, only small gap between each other.

Like saying if Starrk was a 95, Barragan was a 93, Halibel was a 91-92 and Ulquiorra was 90.

Starrk wasn't much stronger than Barragan. Also not much stronger than Ulquiorra(first form). All four are around the same lvl, there is a reason why Ulquiorra got Ichigo as opponent.

With his second form, Ulquiorra jumped tiers, he was not anymore on the same lvl as Starrk, Barragan and Halibel, he could legit wreck them 1on1.

Ulquiorra jumped from a 90 to a 120-150, making the gap insane huge to these other 3.

Aizen created the espada they’re not like Gin who was just a follower. The espada were his invention. Aizen knowing about the second release was hinted at when he was talking to Ichigo. And again neither stated Aizen didn’t know, just that Ulqiorra never showed Aizen. And even after Ulquiorra used it on ichigo, he still never showed it to Aizen but even you are saying Aizen witnessed it.

Not showing =/= not knowing. Ulquiorra is the number 4 espada. He himself acknowledged his place among them.

All in all it’s like Aizen said, all of Ichigos battle, even Ulquiorra took place in the palm of aizens hand.
