Why would he start the day by telling everyone about it then? If we were mafia together, if one gets lynched it would automatically drag down the other one.

Additionally both Polar and York seem to have studied with me, there's no chance that they are mafia together imo because in what world would it make any sense linking themselves together with me like that? So to me it's guaranteed that at least one of them is town for sure. Personally I think both of them are.

My other, although weaker, townread for now is Yoho as I can relate to his way of thinking so far.

I'm on page 62 of 86, slowly catching up, that's why I'm not having scumreads yet but this post from gingerbread unfortunatley doesn't look great for him.

Maybe Higuma's first game but it's not the first game for Alexis and he's using the same logic: Shuijing flipping scum = Crowned Witch also HAS to be his teammate. And probably Shuijing flipping town = me also having to be town. Which is some failed logic coming from an experienced player.

In Defense A, CW argued that wolves don't link themselves to their partners. She clears Polar and York specifically because linking is suboptimal play.

In Defense B, she is accused of being linked to Shu. By her own logic in Defense A, her response should be that if she were a wolf with Shu, she wouldn't defend him publicly because that creates a link.

Why then, does she proceed to attack the logic of the flip implication?

Yeah it does it seems. I think it happened bc it was the first night town studied with scum & the first move to a negative direction.

Also think people saying it’s just scum getting boosted are wrong and it can be other things. Probably wouldn’t hurt to ask Fuji about it but obviously we couldn’t talk about it in the thread if he told us anything on it

Yeah maybe. It’s not how I read it but I could be wrong I do think there are potential other penalties than just boosting scum’s stats.
