Sure Nidhogg is powerful, but there’s plenty of other very powerful real world mythical creatures featured as Mythical Zoans that didn’t get hyped up even as fraction as much as Loki’s, like the Seiryu for example. I mean, Sengoku can transform into the fucking Buddha, which seems like it would be an even more impressive power in a Japanese manga than being able to transform into Nidhogg

The NW is completely divided into yonko territories. Mihawk traveled freely between those for years. Shown to us very very early by Oda. Also, he travels in a nutshell. An unmotorized vessel with zero ability to flee if someone assaults him. Add 1+1. The only explanations are a) no one ever attacked him for years b) he wrecked everyone that attacked him. Both are probably true.

The thing is, Mihawk doesn't actually need to do anything. He simply is the most powerful being in the verse, remember Rocks was a swordsman, Shanks is a swordsman and inferior to him. People accept him like they accept gravitation.

I guess I shouldnt say its impossible. I know the MMA monsters are referring to peoples real fears of things and Nika was one of them so yeah it is possible thats the dragon name. "Earth God/Hell Serpent, Nidhogg" or to that effect, but I do hope its its own thing.
