No they weren’t, Zetsu the intel gathering guy outright stated Naruto’s stronger than Sasuke after acquiring Sage mode. Naruto then goes ahead and gets CM and soloes the entire war on his own basically, a feat EMS sasuke wouldnt be able to replicate.

sasuke himself feels inferior when he sees KCM Naruto, and when they fight he outright steals Naruto’s power to match a self nerfed Naruto

that’s a span of 300 or so chapters of Naruto dominance. I don’t think people really stop and think how long the shinobi war was

Pre Chuunin exams Sasuke looked better. Though I don't remember the details, e.g. how much Orochimaru's seal affected Naruto's Chakra (which Jiraiya got rid of). Chuunin exams, Naruto clearly looked better given his fights against Neji and Gaara. Post TS, Sasuke looked better most of the time.

After that the next time Sasuke was active was EMS Sasuke which again was on the same lvl with BM Naruto

Let's be honest, BM Naruto murks EMS Sasuke. In their final battle we could witness how useless Amaterasu is, as Naruto would just shrug it off via Chakra coating. Genjutsu becomes useless given Kyuubi can snap Naruto out of it. And Naruto's speed, which even outmatched Raikage pre BM (KCM) and the sheer physical and destructive power of Naruto's BM (owning 6 Biju and matching their combined Bijuu Damas) far outclasses Sasuke's.

There is no way EMS Sasuke matches that, not even portrayal wise. Naruto was fueling an entire army with Kyuubi's Chakra, while Sasuke pretty much was the fifth wheel.

After that, they both kinda equal out for tha rest of tha series cause we go into tha war arc

Sasuke was no match against naruto once the later mastered Kurama's chakra. Even in part 1 they constantly one upped each other with naruto learning to control a bit of Kurama's powers , learning rasengan and summoning jutus vs sasuke learning chidori , coping lee's speed and training his sharingan. Sasuke was even jealous of naruto's growth in part 1 after seeing what rasengan can do.

Sasuke's huge advantage lies in early part 2 till naruto learns SM and even then sasuke can not match raw power of 4 tails naruto.

Sasuke was stronger more often, it isn’t until Sage Mode that Naruto gets a big boost over Sasuke and that doesn’t last—Fully mature MS Sasuke would give SM Naruto a death match.

EMS & BM are pretty much the same but BSM should be stronger than EMS Sasuke with Juugo’s senjutsu.

And So6P Naruto is much stronger than Sasuke normally, he can fully utilize senjutsu to rival Bijuu chakra Rinnegan Sasuke. Regular Rinnegan Sasuke can’t beat that.

Naruto always had massively greater chakra reserves than Sasuke. And yes BM Naruto was stronger than EMS Sasuke but you can genuinely still debate it, especially if you give Sasuke PS.

1. Zetsu says he thinks Naruto is stronger, he can't confirm it, he doesn't even know his exact level. This is just buildup for their rivalry, and Naruto accomplished something bigger then taking down Itachi. Sasuke will go on to accomplish big stuff in the 5ks summit arc,while Naruto doesn't fight anyone, however.
2. He's operating under the assumption that Naruto singlehandedly beat pain, which isn't really the full story. Sage mode Naruto got captured, it was only until he lost control of the nine tails, and Minato went on to save him. That isn't really helping him in a 1v1 fight against Sasuke
3. Afterwards, Sasuke points out that there are new techniques he wants to test out, implying he had gotten even stronger since fighting Itachi or B since last arc. In the 5ks summit, we see him use techniques like Susano

4. Tobi doesn't reject it in front of Zetsu, but doesn't he tell Naruto that he wants to see him fight Sasuke later in the arc, believing that Sasuke will come out on top against the will of fire because of his hatred? That might be a bit of a reach, but it's pretty clear that at this point in the story, they're extremely close as rivals, with Naruto himself thinking they would die facing eachother.

It's not like Sasuke ever considered himself weaker than Naruto in part 1, though. He's just operating under the assumption that Naruto's growth rate is better then his as genin, since Naruto started out pretty weak, while Sasuke could briefly clash with even the likes of Haku, and Naruto goes from not even being relevant against base Rock Lee to fighting Neji/Gaara in one arc. But when it comes time to fight, Sasuke has no problem going against Naruto.

Even that comparison between the Rasengan is childish vanity. One Jutsu has more DC because it's not a piercing attack. We later see Sasuke beat Naruto in a direct clash between those two Jutsus

Sasuke cannot seal Kurama whenever he pleases, he did it once and that's it. Why wouldn't he had done it during the battle where he was looking to kill Naruto?

Why didn't he seal Killer B's chakra?

Yes leagues. CM Naruto's clone were kage level. Sasuke would get done even worse than the 5 kage did. The Rinnegan and ability to absorb Naruto's chakra was the only thing that made their fight competitive, and even then Sasuke admits Naruto was holding back

Ngl, Kuarma's PL is like an all timer in schizo powerscaling in a shonen manga. Not only does the nine tails match the beast bombs of like half the other tailed beasts, we literally find out half of the nine tails is still somehow sealed in Minato. This clearly would imply that a full power nine tails could literally low or neg diff most of the irrelevant tailed beasts(anything but the octopus), when they're all supposed to be "equivalent" WOMD

Iirc, in the EOS fight, Sasuke gets the chakra from the other tailed beasts, and it still isn't enough to put him ahead.... just lol
