I wanted that because we have Luffy every single bloody chapter. With that stupid laughing pose. This idiot HAD sanji sat out for months on end feigning that when Sanji came he would do something. Instead this idiot is still running whilst all the enemies get taken out. This fraud keeps teasing us and then let's us down and we go through the same cycle again.i want Sanji to actually fight to grow and progress but this guy wants to be some edgy mangaka not realising he's copying literally everybody before him.

Unfortunately, Luffy is the MC and every freaking island is apparently more important thant his crew. Only Zoro shines occasionally, and even that it's not guaranteed.
Remember East Blue 5 in the Lego castle? I was pumped to see them and expected extra focus on our earliest crew members. Instead we got focus on Hajrudin's crew.
Just... expect nothing. If you don't, then any new chapter is either whatever or wow Xebec flashback. If you expect anyone but Luffy to shine, you're in for a bad experience every week.
To be fair, we had a little fewer characters overall, and got more SHP pre-TS. Post-TS it became so bad that Oda even had to split the crew because he couldn't focus on them.
Although, pre-TS we had the Ace arc where NONE of the SHP but Luffy was present, so yeah.

The "fewer" character thing would be a good excuse if Oda actually made 2-3 SHs do anything every arc, alternating.
