Ashura is an odd ability, because it strips Zoro of even more mobility. I don't think being in a permanent Ashura state would ever be something Zoro would want to be in.

Gear 5 can do anything it wants, it's his fastest, strongest, most durable, most range, most flexible mode with environmental manipulation at that.

Though Ashura does give Zoro an impenetrable defense, any attack that comes his way has to go through his blades, so Luffy might actually struggle with it. If Luffy had ranged attacks not using his own limbs than he could counter it no issues, but that's not the case.

How does Ashura reduce mobility??
And this Mobility being a limitation for Zoro in a fighting is nothing but a cope made from Sanjitards who think Sanji can push Zoro beyond low diff (he cant).

Zoro has fought Mobility specialists like King Kaku etc at different points and kicked their ass. King wasn't dominating early cuz hes mobile, he was cuz Zoro didn't have way around his power.

The only time mobility was an issue was against Pica cuz Zoro had to get there fast enough to save Usopp.

Ashura how ever seems to multiply Zoros speed as Zoro blitzed the fuck out of Kaido.

It multiplies his attack power
Increases his defense
Basically gives him zero vulnerability

Ashura without CoC and 30 Broken Bones dominated Kaido while it was active.

If Zoro has Ashura for even 10 minutes at this point..Luffy dies.
