the strongest triad of the first world were:
- Nika
- God of War
- Serpent of Hell Flames

that means Imu is not from the first world, he is just from the second, and that means he is the Forest God

the strongest triad of the second world were:
- Davy Jones
- Imu
- Joyboy

if Imu is the forest god, that means the rain god will likely be Davy Jones (at least the former user of that fruit)

Maybe not? The Earth God and the Hell Serpent were responsible for the first world’s destruction. They seem like villains or the Earth God is literally the Earth getting destroyed because of humans’ abuse of the mother flame, like a nuclear fallout or some shit.

Either way, I think that the war god was a rival/equal, but not the Earth God.

He's my second fave after Waka. He's such an interesting character with a really cool fighting style and badass attack names.

I especially like the characterisation he has fighting Kanoh, how his hidden insecurity comes out....and his research against Bando is super cool, great way to show how brilliant but lazy he is.

Sandwich did him dirty by not having him in KVP/RCT.

You are missing the point, its not about the power level here. I already said in previous spoilers and a thread about how the villians are ranked before people switch up agendas. I have DR Broggy and Dorry so far above the HKs in Elbaf except if Killingham has his whole MMA army.
The problem is that the way the DRed ones were defeated in the flashback is something that I dont see Oda doing with Dorry and Broggy and having Zoro do that.
Secondly Sanji has zero connection with the giant duo. Broggy had connection with Zoro, Dorry with Luffy and Usopp with both. Sanji has zero connection so him being one to defeat either of the giants makes no sense. Seriously feels like explaining the manga to 4 year olds here.

Their connection is simply that they are the two strongest people around and Zoro and Sanji are the only two people capable of. Honestly, I struggle to see the problem behind any of this.

Kaido ---> Nidhogg, War God from 1st World
Oden ---> Davy Jones, 1st World
Orochi ---> Imu's ancestor from 1st World

Orochi is terrified because he knows how he obtained the throne and he knows that Sccabards might return.
Imu is also terrified, most likely of Nidhogg and thats why he wants Ancient Weapon to secure a victory whenever Nidhogg returns. Rocks also told Imu that he was afraid for a long time.

Nidhogg may not have been working with Imu's ancestor but he might be the reason for downfall of Davy Jones.
Instead of boiling in oil, he was cursed/banished to some place underwater...

Kaido surely had inherited the will of the God of War and in the meantime trying to be Joyboy. Maybe his traits make him more like Black Nika.

I came up with a theory alongside @Paperchampion23 that the Earth God was the old King of Elbaph, and Elbaph was a nation of warmongering tyrants and used to enslave humanity.
Which fits the whole "elbaph gotta pay for their sins and history, etc, etc, etc".

The humans succumbed to greed and touched the forbidden sun. We don’t know if he’s necessarily the root cause of evil here, he can just be punishing the humans. It’s similar to Adam and Eve lore.
