Cover Page:- Gaban telling Colon a bedtime story, reminiscing of how Roger, Ray and himself were nicknamed the Three Monster -Slaying Musketeers.
- Sommers reveals his awakening and notes that he's able to transfer his consciousness into any briar and avoid being one shots by Luffy.
- Sommers regenerates and says that he wont be able to use the conciousness swap for several weeks and the only time he had to use it was when he fought the Mountain Eater.
- Sommers then says he is not holding back and uses his awakening to turn the ground into a briar patch.
- Sanji seeing this uses Ifrit Jambe on the briar patch, but it does nothing. Sommers laughs and says that he knows that the briars are prone to heat damage and so he coats them armament haki.
- Sanji uses his strongest move in Ifirt Jambe but it causes little more than a singe mark on the briar. Sommers then takes out Sanji and others including Jinbei, Nami, Robin, Usopp.
- Sanji apologises for being weak and says that he thought he could prove Gaban wrong.
- We get a flashback to the scene where Gaban tells Sanji he's embarrassed his "parallel" does not have CoC.
- Sanji asks for Haki knots but Gaban says that it would only destroy Sanji's legs. Sanji is shocked at how useless he is.
- Suddenly just as all hope is lost, Gaban comes in and one shots Sommers and destroys the briar using advanced conqueror's mass coating.
- Gaban reveals that he ate a Rumble Ball which temporarily healed his wounds.
- Gaban then tells Sanji that he doesn't want the title of the Pirate King's Lefthand to pass to such a scrub. He then reveals that he will join the Pirate King's crew so that a worthy left-hand man will sail with the new Pirate King.
- Luffy happily accepts and tells Sanji to go make some sandwiches.
- Sanji sulks back to the Sunny to prepare the food, crying as he does so. He repeatedly states, "Why am I so useless?".
- Chapter ends with everyone on Elbaph celebrating that the Pirate King's crew isnt useless anymore.
