And the regeneration of a devil is not even close to a Covenant Bearer. Once all the power of it is used up, then it goes away. It's not infinite like the HK have.

Then again there's no point to this plotline. DR has no actual purpose to it if it's this bad at keeping control over people.
Oda just didn't think about any of this, and now I'm not even sure what the characters are meant to do since there's only three fighters on the government side and far too many allies on the other side.
I don't know anymore. I don't know what to do with this manga. Oda just lost it man. Poor guy.

Well, considering someone has to die before it can be dispelled and even someone like Xebec was helpless to resist it, I would say as a short-term ability, it's pretty damn powerful.

And as I said earlier, the trio of Gunko, Sommers and Killingham are stupid assholes who thought they are invincible and nothing could stop them. People like them *aren't* skilled strategists or planners.
