Questions & Mysteries Oda put a chest in the ocean with one piece ending reveal

#2
They managed to place a camera on the seabed to film the chest on land, so we need to check areas in the open sea where the seabed isn’t very deep. 600 meter. You also look at the shape of the clouds and the wind. There’s a map with a boat drawn on it that moves at some point, it could be a map of a real place on the sea.
The brand of the boat used in which sea and why this type of boat is used.
And there are probably other clues visible in the video.
Some skilled people will find it in barely a year

Anyone know anyone with a salvage boat?

I wonder how much you'd have to bribe one of those sailors who dropped it out at sea, in the first place?

Hmmm...if you wanted to get a crew together, you'd need:

A rich fan who can finance this whole operation.

A sailor who can actually steer the boat.

Someone who owns or can rent a salvage boat.

A deep-sea diver, to actually get at the treasure.

Someone who knows Japanese, so they can translate the message, if you ever find it.

A navigator, preferably one who knows the area and can lead us to the treasure, from the few clues we get in the video. We get a few flashes of a map, there are probably enough clues to lead us to the general area.

A mechanic, to get the treasure out of the contraption it's in. And repair the boat, if there's any problems.

A cook, because you're going to be out at sea for a while.

A doctor, in case anyone gets hurt.

And a musician, obviously.

Hmm...how much are tickets to Japan, again?

How far are YOU willing to go, for the ULTIMATE collectible?!

...Seriously, given how obsessed some of the super-fans are, there's a possibility this gets found by the end of the week.

Who's to say the chest just contains a joke by Oda? Or they took it away after they finished filming their little stunt?

I would not trust them to leave the ending of one of the world's best selling mangas out there and risk it like that, neither Oda nor the board & execs at Shueisha would let it happen.
The sentences on the piece of paper are short:

Monkey D. Luffy is… and The Øne Piece is…

The piece of paper in the chest probably only contains two words, one word per question

Personally, I was thinking it could be around Kumamoto Prefecture. Since it was Oda's old hometown and all. Shows what I know!

Well, since it seems like we have a few days, at best, until someone finds and reveals what the note says....anyone want to make any guesses about what it actually says?

Personally, I do feel like even if it isn't a joke, it won't mean too much to us, right now. We still lack the context for what it will mean.

Like Rayleigh said all those years ago...

(Chapter 507)

We'll still need to read the rest of the story, to really understand what it means.

...But, it doesn't hurt to guess.

I'm going to guess it's:

The One Piece is..."Binks sake". I really feel like Bink's sake will play a bigger role in the endgame of the manga. But, the big question is, "what are you meant to USE it for?" Personally, I think it's going to be used as a peace offering of sorts, to a group of people who have been wronged in the past. But...it COULD also end up getting used as rocket fuel! The Strawhats need a way to get to the Moon, somehow!

And.

Monkey D Luffy is..."reincarnating". I feel like there are hints that Luffy, specifically has had multiple past lives. Plus, Oda has been slowly making all his past work canon in the main story. We just got Gil Bastar as part of Rocks' crew. So...how likely is it that BOTH versions of Romance Dawn are actually canon to One Piece? As "past lives" that Luffy has lived through before, sometime in the distant past?

So, the note will say "Binks Sake" and "Reincarnating". Final answer!

I can’t wait to see how they’re going to dive in

Maybe Oda doesn't want to finish the manga anymore lmfao? Or is it just a publicity stunt?

Monkey D. Luffy is… and The Øne Piece is…

I don’t think the paper will reveal anything other than just two names revelation. It’s huge, but it’s not catastrophic

I haven’t really looked into it but how do we know that Oda isn’t just straight up lying about this?
Finding the location doesn’t require any formal process, but do you think anyone would be crazy enough to buy a plane ticket to Japan, rent a boat, and dive down to 600 meters?

we saw Oda write the sentences, tear them in half, and put them in the chest

Oh, I definitely think there are fans that are crazy enough to try and at least rent a salvage boat. Especially the ones already in Japan. I feel like someone's going to actually claim it. Someone's going to find this thing. I just hope they post a picture or video online for the rest of us.

You know what I would have done, if *I* was Oda, though? I would have written 6 different possibilities down, and put them ALL into the box. That way, you keep the fans guessing, even after it's revealed online. You narrow down the possibilities, but you keep the fans debating each other over it. THAT'S how you manufacture some engagement!

And, honestly, I think Oda's doing this just because it's cool. I mean, he's been writing and drawing this story for 30 years, now. He wants EVERYONE to pay attention to this manga, any way he can, now that it's reaching it's end stages. And, yeah, this is a gimmick, but it's a cool gimmick, you got to admit that.

And given he's doing this NOW, we might actually be within spitting distance of the end. We might be closer to the end than anyone suspected. I think, in a way, this is Oda letting go, and getting himself hyped up for the end of the story. We might be in the home stretch, now.
