I strongly disagree lol. I know this is something you wanted since Egghead but last arc was clearly just a showcase to show how overwhelmed everyone was with the 5 of them at their back and required a deus ex machina, literally, to get us off the island safely. Dealing with Gorosei now via one pirate crew and kingdom almost entirely defeats the purpose of setting up a final war against the WG. They are essential that process and just having Loki be the answer almost makes it seem like finding One Piece is pointless then.

What i was more upset by was not actually resolving Kizaru in any justifiable way. I dont think people are ready for Akainu, Shanks and Blackbeard to share the same arc, because at this rate this essentially what is happening when nothing beyond Kaido gets resolved in 150 chapters outside of backstory

To me it feels like the one thing that made the gorosei feel so overwhelming is already being dealt with so they just don’t have any hype moving forward. And with a HK stated to be shanks’ approximate equal that even creates a Luffy opponent.
I just don’t see what the manga gains from just bringing in more fodder holy knights when Sommers and Killingham have been bad enough.
