Lol late night boredom and it didn't work lmao.

Still want Juliet pushed here. No scum reads outside of Juice with 1 post, Orca with a lazy explanation, and whoever the third one was

Good morning everyone!

Ratchet, orca, juice
Thanks - could you give me a brief one-line reasoning on each? If you've already replied to Polar about this, ignore me, I'll find your reasoning during my catch up.

That is why he is main wagon!
UwU
I think it's more to do with his less-than-stellar choice of night-action targets, to be honest.

Cryo/York not paired - would have to catch up on that.
Hayumi/Ratchet not paired - eh, not necessarily?

Flower/Hayumi not paired - not necessarily imo.

Flower/Tepig not paired - yeah, 90% agree, would be weird dynamic, throwing too much attention at them.

And I have a note that if Cryo is scum then Naomi is town - agreed, I think that's legit unpairing.
That's fair - but my reasoning for thinking Flower/Hayumi are not paired is twofold. First of all, there is a particular tell that players sometimes make when they are not teamed with another player, and Flower has made this tell towards Hayumi. Granted, I'm not as confident on this as I am with Flower/Tepig being unpaired, but I only look at Flower/Hayumi as paired if the game is getting difficult and I have reason to believe I've miscleared scum somewhere. I know you have no reason to believe the new guy, who's shown up here with no proven track record of being right on these things and who won't even elaborate on what this 'tell' is, but I'm just putting my thought out there. Additionally, Hayumi/Flower interaction in their post 707 feels somewhat unpairing to me.

Who would yall say is most likely to kill Watson the kill didn't share much but if someone was worried she might catch them that could be our killer

I believe if we figure that out the scum team will unravel
It's a shame that Alexis/Watson isn't around to speculate. Perhaps his algorithm could've told us whodunnit.

Yeah I thought it was sus of her to start calling me and Average lock scum last night just for me failing to find anything in her 12-page ISO that screamed that she is town and it worried me

also I was merciful with my post-restriction by having it not be that debilitating in case I was wrong, and it also doesn’t have a negative effect on Naomi if I fail it

but like everyone is acting like I kicked a puppy over a fence when all I see is me being paranoid about Naomi and doing something to protect myself from her
While I do accept that her just casually tossing you and I into the 'they can be scum' pile with no more critical thought than I give to which pair of underpants to don each morning, is not a particularly good play, I'm not sure it is actually AI for Naomi? She comes across as a player who over-reacts to minutiae that rubs her the wrong way as a person, and her play in this regard feels very much like Alexis'. Tell me truthfully: did you really feel threatened by Naomi calling you scum? And if you think that she is scum, did you honestly believe she would target you at night? I recall you specifically said for people not to target you at night because you are often wrong enough to be mis-lynchable. In the world where Naomi is scum, why doesn't she keep you around to be a mislynch instead of targeting you with something at night?

Average- null never played with him so can't really say if his playstyle is scum or townie
Just a thought, but could you perhaps look past my *style* and judge my *content*? Even if you judge it scummy, that's fine - I prefer people to take stances that they can be held accountable to, and I would not want my style to be a wall for anybody to hide behind.

Ya see a pair of laughing eyes,
And suddenly you're sighing sighs.
You're thinkin' nothin's wrong,
You string along, boy, then SNAP!
Those eyes, those sighs -
They're part of the tender trap.
As much as I love a bit of Sinatra, why are you replying to things in song lyrics now?

Okay ignore this, I just read your "get a read on someone reasoning".

To people voting Crying.

1. Do you think as scum he ignored that Flower almost explicitly claimed d1 she'd visit Pot Goblin and went ahead on him, not caring that it could be watched?
2. Why claim Naomi PR if he didn't have to?
I'm not voting Cryo, but I do think he made a very bad choice in visiting Pot Goblin. To make that choice as scum would mean that the scum team are paying zero attention, and none of his fellow scum helped guide his actions. So I do think that he is likely town from what he did and how he claimed it.

Also I have a bit of a theory about 420 or whatever his name is

If we don’t get anything new from them:

what kind of scum player in their right mind shows up only at EOD to ask “who are we killing”?

this is either the world’s most obvious scum or it’s town being uninformed and stupid

and I’m told don’t attribute to malice what can be explained by ignorance
I have seen players of both alignments do that, so I don't attribute anything meaningful to it.

Juliet quite underwhelming today so far, I think if I were to lim someone rn it'd be her. It's very curious that it's, I believe, only me, Polar and Average sussing her since yesterday. If she's scum, then are we three the only ones not potatoes? Or we have something wrong with our heads and the rest of the town is right? Guess we'll learn in the next episode.
Welcome to the next episode. Your front row seat has been reserved.

(I'll also look a little more into Bittersweet once I get home from work later)

So top three candidates for lynch today so far:
- Cry
- Shuijing
- tepig
This is indeed a post.

4 days without a prize event.

I'm starting to think that the real prize is supposed to be the friends we made along the way playing this.
All I ever wanted was to travel to far-off exotic forums, meet new and exciting people, and then death-tunnel them in Mafia games.

They are gut. I'm more used to a town Ratchet scum reading me, giving me a headache when he talks to me and I haven't seen it in this game. Orca and Juice are slots that are very forgettable.
Regarding the last two, have you tried interacting with them?

People probably volume reading her
Not I. Her flailing makes me think she's town without any real clue about how to deal with things she doesn't like. I reconsider if the game gets hard.

Yeah I'mma try to tell you the way I see it m

Her game is just making enemies after enemies. She's not asslicking anyone, getting from one conflict to another. Scum is tempted to use TMI, it's like a narcotic to them, to appear smart and get people on their side. She's ruthless, mostly talking about her scum reads.

She had absurdly spontaneous changes of minds this game

Like she was saying Michelle lock town, she got replaced and she went full in on The Average Guy, scum rot. I see this spontaneity as towny.

Or how she started to go against the grain saying that Alexis is scum, because of vote lock.
This is a very diplomatic way of phrasing my own thought. I wish I'd thought of saying it like this, but I haven't had a coffee yet so my diplomacy score is 0 right now.

Why claim Naomi PR if he didn't have to?
Because without that, his only claim is destroying ability of dude who's supposed to get himself confirmed by using them
While I do not hate that you're poking at this and trying to deduce whether Cryo's claim is true, I do feel that scum-Cryo could've targeted somebody *much* less consensus town-read, such as low poster, and PR'd them instead. The effect (having another action to prove) would've been much the same but without the uproar from the player list at having forced a woman pushing 40 to "UwU" all her posts.

I was the first person who prodded him at start of this day phase and so it would make sense he would want to also prod me too.
Do you believe that my reason for prodding you is that you prodded me? Was my prodding a reciprocal OMGUS-prod?

Shui I think is possibly a hit cuz we can’t all be town. I think PB or Tepig might be hits as well BUT seeing how wrong I was about AM I know to not trust my scumreads or my gut so
Did you actually scum-read AM when you voted for them? As in, you'd read their posts, concluded that they came from scum, and decided AM was probably the optimal vote for yesterday?

I've been dealin with a storm where I'm at lol what's the deal with Shuijing? First time I played with the fella so don't really know their style
Neither have I. Perhaps we can read him together and share notes?

I think he’d be expected regardless of alignment to read Orca correctly so having him almost in his red reads towards the bottom of his list had me doing an iso, and I’m not too enthused from what I saw from either of them tbh.
What's your take-away from Polar Bear/Orca ISO, given your expectations of their play?

I have arrived. Town, we must batten down the hatches and eliminate the scum. @Yoho I nominate myself to be the leader.
Why did you tag Yoho? What's your read on the guy?
An interesting pick-up. I also pay attention to when players ping each other seemingly at random and question what their motives in doing so might be, so this is a +1 from me.

bittersweet said:
I feel like we should give some people a chance to play before we start offing random people.
I don't like this post because it follows Alexis' vote on Naomi, and I don't understand why he went at Naomi's rescue that fast.
I feel that Shuijing is pointing out here that bittersweet is attempting to white-knight Naomi. I'll need to re-read the interaction again but I do recall thinking at the time that bittersweet's post was a very reasonable* stance to take at that point.

*reasonable does not always mean town. Reasonable takes are often easy for scum to make in order to appear pro-town.

Finished page 2. My reads are :
Alexis is town.
Naomi is neutral.
Buttersweat is leaning scum.
I'm not sure on bittersweet yet, I'll need to read their ISO later, but I can at least see the train of thought that led Shui to this conclusion.

What do you think about his reads? Because we don't judge a book at it's cover here.
A very reasonable* stance to take. I would've preferred it if Shui offered up some thoughts on my reads at this point so that I'd have something to judge him by, but I think that the slight paranoia is warranted.

*reasonable in this instance is more likely +town because it pertains to a read of a specific player and not just generic "offing people early is bad" macro read. I hope that makes sense.

I can't believe this a true argument.
Now, this one could go either way for me. Town-Shui being worried that a wall-posting replacement may be pocketing his fellow towns... or scum-Shui worried that a wall-posting replacement is being widely town-read for an entry post.

I'll reserve judgment for now. I will point out, however, that I too thought Flowers' town-read of me came very easily based off a single post. Either that or the bar for scum-sub entry posts is extremely low here.

(on a veeery slightly positive note, does scum-Shui see me picking up suspicion and votes from Naomi and Alex, and just completely ignore me? Or does scum-Shui use that momentum to get more suspicion on me going. Not sure either way, and I think if I was to say 'no' I might be conf-biasing myself a little bit into *wanting* Shui to be town to reduce my PoE at this stage)

Naomi said:
juliet more relaxed open as town, why i locked her town.
Just from an entrance post you can feel they're relaxed. Not saying what you're telling me here is not true, but I hope Juliet will look "relaxed" across the pages, or I'll have to take the conclusion they're scummy from your pov if she doesn't look so.
This questioning is consistent with Shui's expressed skepticism of "easy" town-reads. There is paranoia here that I don't think is feigned, and I believe this interaction shows Shui is unpaired with both Naomi and Juliet.

@Pot Goblin This is where I'm up to on Shuijing's ISO so far. I welcome your thoughts and any continuation you might be able to provide.

I have to go to work soon so I'll finish up when I return.

Ratchet

The End and the Beginning
Are people scared to intentionally interact with me or something. Quick to put me in POE or suggest shady comments when I’ve been afk for over half the day but never much to say when I’m present hmmmm?
This is townie for Hayumi. Don't recall you as scum actively seeking this out.

Here's Bittersweet's yesterday "contribution". Feels like he's barely able to provide reads? Says he'll help, gives this sloppy list and then asks someone to do his work for him.

The only thing that's explain him anyhow is "as scum he'd at least look m

And I am aware of that. I spent most of yesterday asleep. I am awake more today, still fatigued but feeling better, so I am here and present and trying to contribute.

Started working my way through the players who were on the wagon of AM at the end of the day.

here's where I'm at right now, the ones without comments I still need to ISO

Naomi
Crying
Gingerbread
York - null
ThatAverageGuy
TheOrca - could be town or slight scum lean
Watson - cleared, janitor killed, most likely town
Tepig - weak reasoning behind voting AM, claims sheeping
Ratchet - null
Rej - no clear direction on their votes, seems to go with the flow
Luka - lean town for now

Need you to look at my recent post of the players on the wagon for AM and give me your thoughts on each.

What is that? Are these your lim candidates or are you summarizing the sentiment of the town? Can you explain those, except apart from Shuijing, because you already talked about him.

Bittersweet also had Charlie in his scumleans yesterday. RippedCal suspected Charlie, but isn't talking about him now.

I wonder what it is about people not explicitly clearing Charlie but not exactly sussing him or pressuring him much. Or even putting into PoE.

Some weird situation with him. I always think in such scenarios if it's an allegiance indicator. Charlie isn't the guy who'd you be really afraid to sus, because he doesn't seem too confrontational. So why isn't scumteam sussing him?

I also heard he's polarizing enough that he either gets caught easily as scum or gets totally cleared by d3. So why isn't town clearing him?

I'm surprised by lack of comments on him. He's the top poster that people don't have any stance on.

So I'd gladly hear your Charlie stances. I have him closer to town, but that's not very strong right now.

Gingerbread, there is a term I've heard used before that I think best sums up those posts from bittersweet that you just quoted - IIOA (Information Instead of Analysis). I think this very much applies to those posts.

However, I'm conscious bittersweet does have some medical issues going on. I'll re-read their Day 1 ISO when I return home and offer my thoughts.

Alright guys, you convinced me now again that Cryo's usages are shitty and me defending them is a bit of WIFOM. But he seems pretty solvy and from bare thread I'd be clearing him. Before Ratchet went on him, he was giving nice reads. Is he a capable scum? I'm worried that it's a townie, who takes pressure badly and gets stressed under it and stops solving.

I tried to look at his previous scum games, but with threadmarks nuked, I don't even know what allegiance he was in these games.

I found some Pokémon game from half a year ago where from context I understood he was scum, but I understand it's multiball, so not really relevant (unless this one is also a multiball, but I understand Fuji usually warns somehow it is?).
