It's as likely to hit an ally as an enemy. In fact, if used by town, it's *more likely* to hit an ally.

Polar - could you take a look at my most recent posts regarding Shuijing and let me know your thoughts? I made a couple of posts within the past hour or so, and one about 8 hours ago. Can dig up the quote links if that helps.

I'd also like to know whether you have him as red(ish) because you actively scum-read him, or whether he's in your PoE because you haven't read him yet.

I'll take a look at those in a bit.

I have Shuijing as a scum lean bc since he re-emerged, his scum game was a lot of mia followed by popping in throwing down some posts and then mia again. His town was a lot more solving and consistent activity. Its nothing solid or concrete but his play this game seems to fit into the scum meta more than the town meta

But if he was scum, why would he claim it? He could just silently snipe that ability usage and nobody would be any the wiser. In fact, it might make us even more likely to turn on each other/accuse each other.
