Actually we should root for SK for now and hope he hits some scum, as long as they're all alive :P Last game Yoho as SK didn't help town at all.

When I was SK, I was lynching scum after scum.

It's important balance thing.

1. It has a logical merit, when you look at the game from birds eye view. There's possibly 7 scum people alive, even if they're rather passive, that's plenty of votes and some possibly have threadpull. Hard to imagine by sheer probability that this state would allows us to wagon 2 scums.

2. The difference is you were highly committed to that Cryo read from what I saw. You made an impression that he keeps digging his hole with every post he makes, and his every response to you you summed up in between "that doesn't look good". And I don't think he showed anything substantial in the thread since then for you to change your mind.
The only person who can objectively look at the game from a bird's eye view is the host. Otherwise it's merely hubris on your part. For one, you make several assumptions - that scum are confident, that scum are active, that scum have thread pull, that scum feel like they can control wagons... while I would agree it's best not to assume the opposite is true, assuming that scum can just do whatever carte blanche, on THIS site of all sites, where 90% of players can't really play scum or don't want to, just doesn't hold up to reason. Like I said - give me a logical basis that explains why they can't be scum together based off of what they've said, because I no reason to put any stock into your tea leaf reading.

As for the second point, given that your premise requires me to have changed my mind, a position I haven't given nor implied, then I think that addresses it well enough.

Scum win every game not because we have Beast-level scum players that can't be stopped, it's because games aren't very town friendly by conception, with things like mech and setup solving often unduly punished, and more importantly, the majority of players can't really function in a team setting as they don't believe in concepts like compromising or listening to other views. So of course they get beaten every time because as low level as they may be, it's hard for scum to lose when they can at least co-ordinate.

With that in mind, how would you rate my current PoE (Rej, bittersweet, Jan, Juliet) in terms of containing scum?

Current suspects

1- Rej- I agree with Flower that a town Rej would be more hot in defending himself

2- I still think Polar might be going unnoticed other than posting those long color coded reads I haven't seen much from this slot that screams town

3- juliet- I didn't even think she was at first but unless she subbed out and I just didn't notice its strange she hasn't really been bought up at all despite being in a lot of POEs day 1 and 2 I don't recall her getting cleared

Probably my current 3 suspects

Only one I really don't think you're right on is Juliet (for the reasons I've already given). I think Jan is below par but not actively enough to be a priority to flip right now but I don't exactly disagree. bittersweet I think is plausibly scum, ony thing in his defence is Flower's so-called "God Read" which I put some stock in, but not all that much.
