But that's just the thing. If you are town, and everybody is town-reading you (except Cal...) then 5 or 6 players *do* have TMI and are just engaging in some cow-dungery to appease you.

Can someone please tell me who the "keep my target from being protected bit is ever a town ability?
It got kind of glossed over at the time.

It makes a lot of sense as scum ability to make sure someone who was a wagon and claimed a pr can always die in the night.
I see 0 use for this to be a town ability (unless it includes a vigshot for some reason).

• That part of the role is NAI
• The role blocking is my power
• It's a one shot

Personally, in your place, I would be looking at the people who are town-reading me, and trying to determine how valid their reasons seem. Do they stand up to scrutiny?

Unfortunately, I think a large part of the difficulty you will have doing this, is with so much 'meta' reading going on, it is objectively difficult to distinguish "real" town meta reads on you, and "fake" town meta reads given by scum. Because if the read is valid, then it's valid for both sides.

I'm not sure about the rest of the player list, but I might actually be the only player who can't meta-read you.

IIRC, she had a single "limited" Watcher shot left. Someone (Jan?) said they boosted her today, but it may not have been that ability that was boosted? Or the booster could have been blocked?

I don't know exactly how it would work. But I do recall Flower saying she had a single shot left, which is why I suggested if we have some sort of motion detector, they watch Flower last night.

Town are allowed to lie about that.
Why tell the truth if a lie makes you less likely to get targeted as a claimed watcher?

If I ran out of shots, I would not claim it, and I had leftover shots, I would claim to be empty to influence scum actions (in that postion).
