I don't?
I asked TAG why he thinks it is a team guess.
Ahh, gotcha.

I don't know that it *is* a team guess, but when I see players listed next to each other in the scum section of a PoE, and it's very obvious they're not scum together, it always makes me question whether the player making that read is thinking critically about how aligned the players are, or whether they are "scum in a vacuum" reads.

Given that Orca listed probably (or close to) exactly the number of scum that should exist within this game according to consensus, I assumed it was a "these players can all be scum together" read. Perhaps that was an incorrect assumption, but when I see my name on a potential scum list along with the three other players who were in my PoE yesterday along with Rej, I can't help but feel that is not a genuine list of reads.

Also, I'm sorry but I can't see the post you made about it. Could you give me the post number so I can look it up?

No, he literally said he doesn't have you as town.

"Feels SK" feels a bit like an escape route.

Like, you don't want to sus the person outright, but don't want to clear them either.
I don't think that post matches someone's claim that they can read someone pretty clearly by D3.

It was a bit more drawn out way of saying "I don't know".
If you needed a gun to my head read, townish SK
Read that as town/sk. But it doesn't change thats how you'd characterize my play

Team guess or not, I think Orca was more sophisticated d1 with hisrreads than he is now, when we have more information. Which is not a good tell.

Polar liking a read about him that says "neither Town, neither Scum" also confuses me. Then what, Polar, you are SK then? Why you don't play like usual town?

Because you slightly townread Orca now, then I should take his read, which you agree with, as a good coin and paint you as SK, is that right? Since he notices discrepancies between your usual town play.

Baseball ramping up and conference tournaments and ncaa tournaments for college bball. Don't have time to go full out. But also its not easy with half the game replacing out.

Like Michelle I had as town, TAG im waivering on. Shuijing was slight town, BTAM scum. Juice scum, hime town ish. Naomi town, melkor blah.

I don’t see what’s wrong with a Town or Indie read though. If you’re Indie you can just play like Town, so it’s oftenly hard to differentiate between the two alignments while it’s sometimes easier to differentiate between Town/Indie and scum. So that feels like a bad gotcha attempt.

@ThatAverageGuy what‘s your current Town core and immediate PoE like?
Here is roughly where my reads are at:

My Towns

Gingerbread
Crying
Lord Melkor
Shuijing

Probably Town

Flower
Ratchet
Polar Bear (trending down though)
York
Ripped Cal
Hayumi (trending up and might be 'my town' soon)
hime

Yet To Sort

Yoho
Charlie
Pot Goblin
Reloaded
Tepig
Jan

My PoE

bittersweet
Juliet
Orca

If you would like to see movement from yesterday, my Day 2 list is here

I would also like to say to @Pot Goblin and @Mr. Reloaded - I would appreciate you doing as much as you possibly can for this game, in terms of time/effort. I don't mean to imply that you haven't been giving your all so far, and I know that one person's 100% is not the same as another person's 100%... but you both claimed on D1 and we went to Alwaysmind instead. He died so that you could have more time to prove yourselves town; not just through mech info, but through solving and making yourselves obvious/finding other town to work with. This might be (super) role madness, but reads still count, and right now it's hard to read you both and I can see that you are in PoEs. I would not want to save a town on D1 only to have them lynched on D3. Please try.

I would agree with it in general, but it's different coming from someone who claimed in not so recent past that can get a "clear idea" and get "obvious" about Polar by D3.

You wouldn't be making such posts as scum, right?:endthis:
Please don’t try to get a read off of this cuz sadly I would

I feel an exaggerated burden to perform well as either alignment cuz regardless of alignment I dont want to hurt my teammates, and unfortunately I see being inactive or unreadable as making the game less enjoyable for everyone involved, and I also set way too high of expectations for myself. Basically I just assume everyone will get mad to some degree if I don’t deliver / make mistakes and on an intellectual level I know it’s wrong, but I let the thought go unchecked for so long it’s become a bad habit

It‘s not really about Orca‘s take, but more so Polar‘s acceptance of the read that felt like a bad gotcha to me. I‘m also fine with people Indie reading me when I‘m Town because I know I can replicate my Town play very well as Indie, so if I get pushed as Indie I can’t really defend against it. So saying that Polar has to be SK if he’s fine being read as such is just bad.
