Speculations Zoro matchup for Elbaf ?

I'm having trouble figuring out who Zoro’s matchup will be in this arc. I don’t think he’s going to fight a Holy Knight. At this point, Zoro seems stronger than Sommers and Killingham, and since he can use ACoC on command, he could likely bypass their regeneration pretty easily.

Because of that, they probably wouldn’t be able to push him to a higher level, and Zoro wouldn’t really grow much by fighting them.

I also don’t see much narrative potential in Zoro facing the Holy Knights. The only one he has any real connection to is Shamrock that cuz he’s a swordsman.

I don´t think Shamrock can fight on Elbaf, Oda pretty much wrote him out of the arc, and likely only introduced him so he could give us the Shanks lore before the flashback. He´s an EOS player, I guess. If he were to fight Zoro, he could reasonably even be Zoro´s *final* fight, since Zoro wants to be the king of hell and has a three sword style, Shamrock commands Cerberus, the dog of hades, with three heads.

It´s only deduction to say that he would fight Sommers or Killingham, with his goal of being to completely kill them, which would allow his name to reach the heavens(Mariejois)

Still got my money on Zoro helping out Luffy against DR Loki. Struggling to see how this arc has any tension outside of that.

Couldn't even take out the Domi Fodder permanently.

Because you need to kill them to do so and it was stated Zoro was holding back...

My ideal combat path for Zoro in Elbaph would be: defeating DR Giants (leading the giants and honing his ACoC), then defeating Killingham/Sommers (killing a Knight of God), and finally fighting DR Loki (a Straw Hat group battle, possibly ending with ZKL).

Either imu brings new HK or it is sommers or it would be no one in particular and zoro with other SHs will have group fight against Imu himself.

atm. it seems like the crew will have a all out fight like against oars but anything can happen, really

Next Chapter determines if it'll be Killingham or Sommers because Oda has often given Sanji brief clashes with Zoro's opps before Zoro actually fights them.

What i think is maybe Zoro will finally land a hit on a named character in this arc, could be just be a couple of months
