Hayumi could be scum as well, d1 and d2 was more offensive, but d3 feels more like listing mostly his towns plus dealing with "why are you all sussing me? what's your argument??" stuff. Maybe another person who wants to make people uncomfortable for PoEing him, which is a scumtell.

Like, homie, we can be finding towns in other people, so we're looking at slots that aren't giving us much reasons to townread them. It's not like we'll be creating farfetched case to go at you. It's what you've been expecting.

Raylle d1, myself d2 and d3. Generally by bigger slots I mean slots that aren't a PoE fodder, not like going at top towns.

Raylle was just not playing well d1.
If ratchet hadn't subbed in (and I am too friendly to subs that need to settle in) then the slot would have gotten pressured hard by me d2.

I did not go after you d2. My read on you cooled by d3, because Ekko was town, and I slowly started following his read on you.

I viewed Jan's game as coasting around slots like Marimo and Reloaded and generally going with the mainstream of the thread, being all happy about it. Now this contrarian to Pot attitude and listing names like you, Ratchet, Hayumi, Charlie as duel candidates is something I'd expect from town. Trying to stir things up.

They only listed us as slots they felt insecure about. It didn’t feel like they legit wanted us as duel targets. It literally looks like an attempt to widen the POE to me

I can. Anything specific? A lot of it is Poe.
I am always one to have townreads and be left with everyone else.
But for some of them, I have reasons.
First step the people not in my poe:

hime (Magikarp, Metapod)
Does more than she wanted. at times you can feel her being drawn in by the game when she really did not want to.
That is just a towny thing to do esp for a lot like that.

Lord Melkor (Banette, Lapras)
Naomi was just town. LM is doing ~fine.

He feels different from the last game.
If you compare those 2 games, he felt dead last time around, and now he has come alive being freed of his shackles.
Last game was more of a laidback study, and this game, he is in the deep, getting down and dirty.
The surviving a killshot part is a thing, but I think Fuji will do weird things in his games, and it is a character fit.

Yoho (Gengar, Mewtwo)
Check my iso. different to his scum game in a lot of small bits.

Trust flower.

You have no idea how much I hate reloadeds claim. :D

It just makes no sense for a villager, and I think he fucked up his claim at first and then claimed the real role to somehow get out of it.

This is possibly a dumb question but when you meta read ppl are you using it to gauge what they’re capable of doing as scum or are you using it to say “x player always does y thing as scum and they aren’t doing it this game”? Cuz iirc u said ppl can change their meta and that’s one of your favorite things about playing mafia. Unless u don’t think these ppl are aware of their meta and so they aren’t changing it?

also I do a similar process of looking for town and then doing POE / tiering who has the strongest or weakest reasons for me to call them town

so if you’re confident that Reloaded, Orca, Ratchet, and Tepig are scum (or if not confident, at least you think they’re Sus enough to be duel targets), can you explain why you think they’re Sus?

That’s why I’m asking you questions in the first place. I wanna make sure I’m not misunderstanding anything and end up being called “cherry-picking” or “deliberately painting someone in a bad light” like I have in the past

Jan is just Town. He has p much the same world view I do Yoho aside. And I think his entire behavior is just Townie and I‘m honestly tired of second guessing myself on that read just because he fooled me one time. I had him right literally every other game recently.

Ironically, this duel will clear one of the two I have on my scum lean list. And then if we manage to get the lynch on Orca, that will clear a third.

Cuz honestly Jan my case on you rn would literally just be “they seem to be coasting along and not making actual reads or difficult pushes and despite having the 3rd highest posts I still haven’t noticed anything worthwhile enough to confidently call them town”

but that doesn’t feel quite right and I’m giving you a chance to clear up my misunderstanding before we just go full nuclear and start hurling insults at each other / doming. I want to understand you and not attack some caricature of you if I’m misunderstanding something
