Space and Time make language evolves naturally. Space push people appart and make them create different language practices and time set them in words and dialects.

As a result.. Words are being invented everyday and definition are ever evolving. While it is possible to maintain a coherency in knowledge in regards to topics, historical datas, scientific knowledge, arts etc.. It's IMPOSSIBLE to keep language in a cage.

Dictionnaries are usually meant to do just that : to restrict the usage of words to simple definitions, usually in accordance with the material interests of the people who write said dictionnaries and people who use them to often justify reactionnary and restrictive rethorics

This create a situation where meanings are squatched, lost, invisibilized, restricted. Words are often reduced to one or two definitions, usually bad ones without the contextual information that are needed to understand them.

Dictionnaries are an attack on knowledge itself. They are a way to destroy languages and dialects, to reduce their histories and meanings.

Latin died out because it morphed into multiple dialects that, eventually, became their own languages. The wokes like to attack grammar, because it's another way to destroy national indentity.

My guy, we already had this debate before. I literally posted a bunch of intellectual articles about how these ideologies have a common origin in the French Revolution and how, in fact, they share more similarities with each other than divergences. What did you do back then? You pretend not to see that wall of text. I'm not going to debate someone that claims "it is because academics claim so" while ignoring academics that say otherwise. You believe what you want. If the US Army had actually invaded the USSR, the history books would be completely different today.

What is the point of definitions if one can just dismiss them because it doesn't fit their worldview? Is a cat no longer a cat because someone disagrees that history shouldn't call it a cat?

And academics agreed that Fascism and Nazism are far right ideologies. Books from guys back in the early and mid 1930s when the ideology was still a work in progress is factually outdated. And yes, most of these ideologies is rooted in the French Revolution has evolved it into many subgroups since. Stalinism was conned to describe Stalin's specific form of communist ideology for example, and it is still accurate.
