I dont think any arc bar whatever war happens for One Piece and against the WG is really going to show off anyone but Luffy at this point. We seem to be at the endpoint of what Oda wants to do here and its about Loki and Luffy unless this turns into a massive 1 v everyone type deal.
In the grand scheme of things, think about how few 1v1 fights every character outside of Luffy really has since Alabasta:
- Zoro: Mr. 1, Ohm, Kaku, Ryuma, Kuma, Pica and finally King. Hyouzou and Monet are basically one shots. Count Lucci if you want. Imo its currently 7.
- Nami: Ms. Doublefinger, Hatori and Kotori, Kalifa, and Ulti. 5 fights.
- Usopp: Mr 4 /Ms. Merry Christmas, Satori, Perona. And thats it, 3 actual fights since Alabasta. I dont count FI and wont the rest of the list. Usopp is more memorable in specific moments like sniping Spandam or Sugar. Page 1 was honestly stolen from him.
- Sanji: Mr. 2, Satori, Jabra, Absalom, and Queen. Count Wadatsumi, Vergo and Oven if you want. I dont. 5 actual fights.
- Chopper: Mr 4/Ms Merry Christmas, Gedatsu, Kumadori. 3. Thats all folks! Like Usopp Chopper gets more scene impact stuff like what he did in Wano against Queen. We are seeing it again this chapter with both characters.
- Robin: Yama and Black Maria. 2 fights(!)
- Franky: Fukuro, Senor Pink and Sasaki. 3.
- Brook: Literally none. Zeo is his own fight but again the FI fights are nonexistent. Used for impact more than real fights (i.e. BM encounter, now Imu, etc.)
- Jinbe: Just Who's Who. But makes sense given his joining timing.
At most we have 1-2 major fights left for most characters outside of Luffy. Its just unfortunately the reality of the situation at this point and I dont think theres much left here unless he does something surprising with Imu (who isnt even really here to begin with...). I cant see Gorosei losing here at this point. Its not their place to
