The HKs aren't "that" strong for the most part (obviously Shamrock and Garling are exceptions) but they're not weaklings either.
- Whole Cake Island was attacked by 2 Holy Knights, but they where defeated by Cracker and his haki
- Zou was also attacked by 2 Holy Knights, but Carrot and Wanda defeated them with Electro
- At Wano the scabards defeated 3 Holy knights
- Imu is furious, he tried to get the Road Poneglyphs, but underestimate the power of mere humans
- In the final panel we see Shamrock who is defeated by Morley, while Dragon walks into the flower room

They seemed impressive at first but when you look closer they aren't THAT good:
- beating Loki cuffed in seasoned - cheating
- taking children as hostages - dirty tactics
- overpowering fodder giants - ok, this is probably not Charlos lvl feat, but still not too impressive
- capturing weaker SHP - saved by regen hax
Remove their regen hax and then even weaker SHP would be able to deal with them:
- Usopp has blown Gunko to pieces - arrows should disappear and children aren't going anywhere, SHP aren't captured
- Robin breaks Sommers neck - children are free of thorns
- Nami still can deal with the fire, while the rest of SHP can deal with sleeptids and Killingham - even if no one can fly, Usopp can still shoot

People said this about the Gorosei, Kaido and Big Mom too. I think y'all just forget that these characters can indeed dodge or block attacks, but purposefully choose not to because they know they either won't be hurt or the damage won't be permanent anyway.
