Are you excited about the upcoming Miles Morales Spidey? I've never been much of a Spidey fan (my fav superhero would be Batman), but those movies are so good imo. It was sthreatening in God Valley because Xebec needed to be defeated and damaged so bad he couldn't move after the possession was removed, he didn't just say "Oh, wait, I love my family a whole lot!!!! I love them so much!!!!!!" and then just break out of it and run away.
As annoying as it was to have Haki once again be the answer for something, it still gave it some tension as it means random characters like Karasu or Queen can't just undo it out of nowhere. But now Oda doesn't know what to do with it, and the only thing I really hope for is that he doesn't make it just turn into this boring repetitive emotional slop.
In a perfect world we could've had Haki and the Drums of Liberation be the only two answers to it.
