Yes, I do think we had two scum wagoned yesterday. Perhaps it's not conventional solving, but I don't think scum expected to lose Yoho. I think Orca was outted and town shifted the focus to Yoho. Which is fine, because it got us a scum lynch. But I cannot and will not unsee a post that comes from a place of knowing a player is going to flip scum, like Orca did Rej.

I asked him to help me look at Cal, Orca and Reloaded to see if they could be unpaired with Yoho.

It's exactly the same as what you've been doing, except less illogically.

Not exactly. My role says (about the Echo ability):

"it will happen again the following night but with reduced effectiveness. Except for kills. "

So I think if you targeted someone with a kill and it didn't go through for some reason, it would happen again with full effectiveness? (Or I can't Echo kill abilities... it's vague)

I'm guessing the "reduced effectiveness" means that if you had 100% of role-blocking someone when I targeted you, the next night it might just be 50% chance.

my tinfoil was that ur echo made me confuse crying agn and maybe thats y we ended up with the melkor kill lol
i just dont understand y scum would kill melkor over someone like poyser for instance who is being scum read by nobody and is far more active

I figured gingerbread would be safe because according to him, he'd died and been reborn as vanilla. So that he had no further actions to "misfire".

I think Melkor died because he was Naomi. He was also towny from everything I saw of him. I will re-read him tomorrow for any potential nuggets, but I for one am not at all surprised by his flip (I'm more surprised Charlie didn't die. And disappointed that my locked action got wasted. But at least we still have Charlie, so).

im surprised charlie didnt die either but i can chalk that up to scum being worried charlie would be protected/watched since he is the obvious choice for it

i wasnt around when naomi was playing so that may be the case, but melkor was pretty inactive and not a huge voice in the thread so i was surprised as its not like leaving a consensus town around who isnt really a threat takes priority over a much more active consensus/near consensus town
at least in my view
