Explaining political aspects of the region which often mainstream media doesn't cover.
I don’t see how this is any different from the Christian concept of God, except that Christianity centers their faith around Jesus of Nazareth who is identified as being God.
Personally, I doubt God is so petty that he condemns people solely based off what name you call him or even the things you attribute to him.

From poor to rich doesn’t mean much because everyone isn’t rich. You can take the example of 4 dragons too but Japan a democracy developed much more. It’s a dangerous oversimplification to state that only a dictatorship can develop a country because « look at Vietnam and its neighbours ». Not a proof. The world would be much better if it had good democracies everywhere.
tbh I feel like people in the west really don’t understand what the Middle East is like.
Like, it’s one thing to hear about a conflict miles away on the news. And it’s another thing to grow up in a country perpetually at war and know people who have died in said wars.
Europe used to be like this but after the world wars and the fall of the USSR, Europe largely moved past it.

Europe is still like this. It never really changed. The beast is just silent for the moment, but it is still making victims.
Now for this situation. There are no "it's because it's difficult or it's because of a war" excuses acceptable. Domination is what creates dehumanization, not war. In fact, subjugated people, people under the fire, are usually the ones who understand the danger of not reproducing said domination. Anger therefore follows, but not through dehumanization, through resistance.
The beast that created the Nazis is the same that is acting in Israel at the moment and it's the same that is acting in the US and it's also the one who made the situation explode in Sudan and it is destroying Congo, or is starting to destroy south america and so much more... It's the invisible beast. The one people refuse to see.

Imo no country has full democracy.
Rapid development is feasible under the form of democracy we have. Problem is lack of political certainty and stability.
A country needs long term plans and vision with political continuity which executes those plans. This helps create a politically stable and predictable environment and attracts investments.
But change in government after one term or so which often comes with different party having different vision disrupts the momentum and policy executions.
This also makes governments more tune to political appeasements or resorting more to populist measures.
China's development happened due to many reasons and one of which is one party in power for a long time.
India has seen rapid development in past 12 years because of same political certainty.
