I mean it makes sense. The main villain of Elbaf is Imu, the HKs were just the act 1 villains. Like CP0 in Egghead.
The issue was the lead up. Luffy and loki should not have had to lay a finger on sommers. There only concern should have been imu directly. To add it wasn't even sensible to show lokis form seeing that he still reverted back to base with ragnir to put hands on imu. Imu/gunko should have been a devastating fight that alone lasted several chapters

As expected: Lokis weakness confirmed. He is already an ancient giant and becomes even bigger as Nidhogg. His ability to aim for small targets like humans depreciates depending on how big he is in relation to the target. This is confirmed by Loki himself.

I would also wager that his ability to dodge attacks get worse the bigger he becomes, this is not confirmed but just logical.

So the absolute strongest version of Loki that I would love to see just once in the series is if a character could use the shrink shrink fruit on him and turn him in to a WB size fighter. He'd probably gain speed, accuracy and evasion while his enormous AP would remain devastating.

Since his hybrid form is able to fit into the castle, it should be much more agile

True. That form should be like Kaidos hybrid form.

But imagine that form while shrunk down to Kaido size. I always judge fighters on their Battle IQ and Battle Ability first and foremost and Lokis seems to be up there. He has great haki, he doesn't seem to f*ck around but rather going straight for the kill, he moves and thinks like a fighter. I like his style a lot.

Different topic do you think Ragnarok will have any influence in Elbaph?
The Redline was introduced as the blood snake serpent by dorry and broggy and then later Harald and Ida

which makes me think jormungandr is lokis true final battle which is why Oda made him so huge and this strong as well as nerfing him this arc until 6 months pass in story which is reasonable for eos.

So Loki destroying the redline would in a way bring the end of the world aka ragnorak.

and considering the fact that imu had to forcibly leave the holy land for the first time in 800 years makes me think it’s a sign of the end times or the end of the world

Also Niddhog was considered as the sign of Ragnorak starting and Loki is in a way starting to cause the end of the world by forcing imu to act and eliminate opposition that could threaten their “perfect world”

E

So I think Loki was destined to either defeat imu( only in elbaf) after imu descends down the holy land and into Elbaf

or most likely Loki was destined to destroy the redline which would have huge geologic effects
