My personal opinion on the matter though: Zoro is the right hand man and Sanji the left hand man.
Zoro primary job is to keep his captain in check.
Sanji primary job(beside cooking) is to keep watch on the crew if Luffy isn't around.
They could exchange jobs in certain situations if Luffy or the other isn't around.
That's about it. There's no VC in the SH.

Yes, Sanji will be YC1+ in Wano if he defeats King. But since we agree that RS is not a significant power-up, it clearly means that Sanji was already YC2 level in WCI. Where did Luffy start in WCI? If you think Doffy is YC3, and since Cracker is YC3, Luffy started in WCI at say YC2.5.

In another words, in WCI, Luffy and Sanji were nearly equal. That's the conclusion.

And since you guys say that Kid and Law will be with Luffy in beating Kaido, Luffy won't be a top-tier, remember?

I don't believe any of this. But aren't these the logics you guys used to denigrate Zoro? You were specifically chirpy about them when they could be used to bash Zoro.

Like I said, that was not how it works...it was not the first time Zoro and Sanji defeat the opponents in the subsequent arc where Luffy had to struggle to defeat him...

RS is not a significant power up so far and if that is sufficient to defeat King and that means KING IS NOT SPECIAL LIKE KATAKURI and he is weaker than Katakuri even though both are YC1 of their respective groups....as a matter of fact Zoro is YC1 of SHP and same goes for Beckman but Beckman >Katakuri <=> King > Zoro as of now right?

Law and Kidd will help but majority of the work will be done by Luffy and if Luffy will be recognized as Yonko after Wano, then yeah he will be top tier....and even I don't think they are much of help as they lack feats to prove that they can hurt Kaido except for Law and that too only gamma knife can damage Kaido

Tell that to Luffy fans. If Sanji ends up beating King, do you think Luffy fans will accept Sanji as YC1? No, they won't. They will say that King is far weaker than Katakuri. Hades already did that.

But the same Luffy fans will say that Zoro fans are the ones who bash Sanji. The truth is, nobody wants Sanji to win against King other than Sanji fans, nobody. Not Kid fans, not Law fans, not Luffy fans, nobody.

Yet everybody seems to be bent on portraying Zoro fans as the villains.

Sanji beating King is not a proof that King is weaker than Katakuri. You haven't proved that King is weaker than Katakuri. You keep saying portrayal, well, portrayal-wise... BM called Katakuri trash. And King made decisions in front of Kaido.
