He took on an admiral and 5 Gorosei and came out the cleanest he has any arc since Zou/Punk Hazard.

While I understand he doesn’t need to be physically taxed to take an L, directly taking on all those top tiers just to be spotless at the end is cartoonish.

Luffy had massive plot armor on Egghead
Kizaru fed him when he was down
Emeth saved his ass when Gorosei were about to fold him
And it was an arc focused on escaping
Straw hats cannot escape here, as it would mean abandonning Elbaf

I’m not saying escape, I’m saying when Luffy fought insurmountable odds last arc…..

He personally suffered no consequences for any of it. The closest was running out of stamina against Kizaru.
