Why are you lying like that? Sengoku was always comparable to Garp and there sure were other Admirals who taught both Garp and Sengoku all these skills.

Garp personally taught Kuzan all these skills and Kuzan straight up matched Garp in a punching match, let alone Kuzan's PH abilities to create entire ice mountains or permanently change the climate of an island.

But keep on living in denial. If the Gorosei's comment to send ONE admiral isn't enough, nothing will convince you until we see admirals easily putting up a fight against all the current top tiers.

That doesn’t change what I said at all, Kizaru was no actual threat to Luffy when he was in G5.

Luffy as a whole is even less of a threat to Kizaru, so this is a confusing point to raise.

The Gorosei were unable to land any attacks on Luffy that he didn’t block or self-inflict (Warcury), apart from psychic strikes from Saturn

Gorosei aren't great fighters but they are powerful. The reason Gorosei were unable to land attacks on him is because Luffy was literally using his 2 minute hyper overdrive form which places him above top tiers temporarily. If Oda is gonna give Luffy such a shitty drawback and have him still somehow be getting pieced up by people, what even is the point of G5 at that point? Throw that form in the trashcan.

Imo you should be looking at G5 not doing anything to Kizaru with scrutiny, that was the real issue. Kizaru wasn't the one going tryhard using some stamina draining time limited form only to get no real results, he looked quite casual in comparison. The tradeoff has to be Luffy is stronger for this time frame cause he sure as shit wasn't outside of it. But what came as a shock is Luffy himself was just surviving throughout the arc, he wasn't actually able to impose himself on Kizaru the way he should have given all the drawbacks.

It almost gave me flashbacks of G4 against Cracker. Where G5 didn't even look like all that much, which is not a good thing.

The Gorosei were desperate to talk Imu out of going and were just listing off the WG’s top forces (Gorosei and Admirals) that Imu could send instead.

Use your brain for 2 seconds, the Gorosei are clearly above guys like current Zoro/Kid/Law, and just 2 of those is canonically enough to beat Yonko Big Mom. Even if you want to argue Meme is below every other Yonko and Admiral, she’s still in the same ballpark as them. 1 Admiral = 5 Gorosei is obvious nonsense and some basic powerscaling should make it obvious that your interpretation is wrong

HK Harald was getting chopped up and failing to dodge any attack. Once regen gets countered, the Gorosei will suddenly have much better reaction speed and look like more competent fighters.

It’s pretty much a law of Shonen that any character with powerful regen must have paper durability and suck at dodging, until they reach the point where attacks are actually powerful enough to kill them
