What feat does it have?
The haki belongs to Imu himself, his shadow can't do much at all outside of regen and DR, that's why he possesses people. And clearly, possession is still weak as Imu left Gunko's body with a swiftness and even possessimg Saturn had him getting chopped to bits by Rocks.

Garling definitely has ulterior motives with wanting Imu to leave just like everyone here has their own goals separate from the others
