I have seen Imu neg diffing people becuase he only needed DR.
Obviously against PK+ level people with God fruits It wouldn't have done much, but becuase we are talking about incredibly strong people.
The fact that Imu's Shadow is bascially immune to damage, has incredible haki and has showed already offensive capabilities (guns, trident, demonic powers) if anything tells us how strong Loki and G5 Luffy are.

Imu's shadow doesn't have guns and tridents, I'm literally talking about Imu's shadow form itself, not whatever body he possesses.

There's no way a mass murderer like Gunko becomes a SH.
She did too much shit, even if we say she had amnesia and thought she was a CD.
Robin and Zoro killed people before joining the SHs, sure, but I believe their victims were largely fellow criminals or Marines, with maybe occasionally some innocents here and there, but nothing on Gunko's scale.

Imu's shadow came form and can only came from someone he is currently possessing. In that moment he was phisically connect with Gunko, we saw it.
I can't speak on what Kaido would do because clearly this ice thing It's not absolute, but Imu could have easily used Gunko's body if he had wanted to. The Shadow was phisically still attached to her inside the cube.
